Has Spurrier ever been accused of running a dirty program? Why hate the man for being witty and winning a few SEC championships and an NC? If you asked coaches in the SEC who they thought was more ethical as a coach and recruiter Spurrier would once again dominate CPF.

Their head to head record is? Also, Spurrier has tours at Duke and South Carolina on his resume. TCHFCATUTK has only coached at a ready made football power. TCHFCATUTK wouldn't win 4 games a year at Duke. Spurrier won a conference title there.

Oh, I'm not dishing SOS. He's one of those like him or hate him guys. I've always respected his ability to win, and lack of shame in earning those style points when needed.

And that's 2 different records. CPF has to have a 4 year run just to shake that comparison, even then it will be weighted since he won't get it all back against a Spurrier Gator team.

Guess you want Bruce Pearl fired then? He and Spurrier are two of a kind. It appears that what you want are personality challenged, semi articulate, Hee Haw characters coaching at UT. Well, you've at least got that in football for one more season.

Interesting you should mention that Hat. Spurrier and Donnan both sent a warning to Dubose about his recruiting "styles". How is it that CPF gets stuck with his hand in the cookie jar? Another incident of poor judgement.

Spurrier is no different than anyone else. The Orange nation just don't like us because he owns us, and back in the day had the right to use us as media jokes. He earned it anyway. As a collegiate coach, he's definitely at the top in about anything you could ask of a coach. He's arrogant, so if that is not for our program, don't hire him.

Spurrier, Donnan, and Nutt all extended Dubose the courtesy that coaches with an ounce of professionalism give their peers. They went to him first with their concerns. TCHFCATUTK, being what he is, decided to play Mannix and run to the NCAA.

I don't know about that. Between TCHFCATUTK and his mistress, Tom Culpepper, they gave the 'AA several hours of interviews. I only bring it up when someone tries to pass Junior Samples II off as a man of character, while at the same time slandering Steve Spurrier. Spurrier's only sin against Vol Fans is being 200 times smarter than the guy running our program.

Man Law States:
Once a coach from a rival team is available to coach your team. It is unacceptable under any circumstances to invite said coach to your team even if it means you can't win for 2 years without him. Furthermore, said coach is to ridiculed and chastised as often as possible.

p.s. If said coach is from the same state that hates him, he is to have all rights revoked by home state to set foot in that state for any purposes other than away game or just passing through to get to away game in adjoining state. Otherwise he is not allowed within the borders of home state.:rtfm:
