Wow, this leaves Brazzell, Matthews, and Staley as WRs who have had any productivity?

11.2 yds per catch! That was good enough for 9th this year. That’s 9th on his own team! We are not losing much here. 382yds this year and 6 TD’s in 3 years. Heupel appears to be Clemson house and rebuilding the WR room like he did the DB room this year.

Boo Carter will be better than White at WR.

Whit has said he is looking to get closer to home and that will play big part of where goes. He is from Birmingham and I can see him playing at UAB. He won’t go to Bama or Auburn and be buried on depth chart. Be in same situation as he is in now.
I find it hard to believe he'll find decent NIL $ at UAB but maybe. Does Samford or Jax State or some such school have an angel for NIL?

Other teams offering him more money. Kind of pisses me off that kids are getting offers while trying to prepare for a playoff game but that’s the world we live in. Given his injury history, lack of production on the field and situation right now I don’t blame him at all. Hate to see it happen during the season but the guy played through injury a lot for us, I hope he makes a good bit of money.

For us? Idk if it’s a good thing or not but we’re going to be forced to see some new faces at the WR position and i don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing.

Not sure why they would be offering him more money - he hasn't exactly had a good year.

And people mocked Saban for retiring. Oh he can’t compete on a level playing field. Complete BS. This is the reason Saban retired. He didn’t want to deal with the idiocy in his early 70s.
And Coach K and Jim Boeheim and Bennett from UVA and the guy from Villanova. (Having a senior moment on his name.) The old timers have seen enough.

If the ncaa now tells a kid he is ineligible to play any longer because he is a senior, that would now be age discrimination. You can’t impede a kids “right” to play and get paid

Which is totally fine and I understand it, but he's a hypocrite. It was totally fine when he could take a other job if he pleased or have his agent leverage Bama for another raise. The coaches were greedy long before the players.

And? Still proves his statement not true
Have you seen a freshman like him lately? I haven’t. It means there are VERY FEW out there like Ryan Williams. Easier said than done to say we can get one like him and if we can, it’s going to cost big bucks. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Everyone wants to assume it’s NIL, and some of it could be. However, Until someone speaks on all these transfers , I’m just not going to assume anything. I do think the head coach needs to address some of this at some point.
It would be nice if he did, but what would he say? He keeps it very close to the vest. We'd just get a bunch of corporate speak, nothing honest.

You really think that is what we’re doing

HOPE this means his ear to the ground has him not wanting NEW blood in competition. Bet our folks have been in touch with other guys folks. I think we have to clear a spot for every new addition, still maxed out at 83, actually maybe 1 over even with his departure.

Like him, hate to see him go. Could be a win, could be a loss. Should make adding a guy easier.
REPLY TO SELF........

Wow, had no idea the competition his ear to the ground heard was BOO....
