Squirrel White commits to Florida State

Hate to lose Squirrel and still don't understand why he's transferring. Does he just not like the WR coach? Seems unlikely he's going to have a better situation at Florida State than he will next year at UT.

You can’t be serious with this question. These players don’t care about coaches, teammates, or even winning or losing. They’re getting paid - he’s a got a kid I believe so it’s extremely naive to think there is another reason he left

Great receiver, great speed and hands . Unfortunately had to play the last couple of years with inconsistent Quarterback play. I think he should have stayed and had a huge breakout season with a more experienced Quarterback. Granted our pass blocking improves. Wishing him luck and thank him for all he has done for the Vols!

It will eventually have to evolve into contracts. If you want Top NIL $$$$, you got to commit to a fixed term
Tennessee is an at will employer state. I think the best they could do is give you a bonus and your contact basis you pay a chunk back if you leave early

If you think this was not part of the plan all along you're kidding yourselves. Who got between the players and the NCAA? Attorneys. Who negotiates and puts together legal contracts? Attorneys. Who will have to be involved and paid if contracts go into disputes? Attorneys. This was a long term strategy to generate a new rather lucrative revenue stream for ... ... ... ... ... attorneys.

Squirrel is smallish in today's world of 6'1-6'3 200+ lb WRs. Strictly a slot guy, and injury prone. I STILL HATE THIS CRAP of not knowing who will be on the team from one year to the next. No player attachment like in the past, watching a guy grow in the program, it really sucks. They have ruined the best game ever known to Man.
Amen to that. College football is taking a shaky path.
