Stafford and Moreno to announce

He might have the best arm, but there is no way that I'd call him a better QB than Bradford.

But who will adjust better to the NFL?

I haven't watched a ton of Oklahoma games but it seems most of his passes were from the gun.

I think I'd take my chances with Bradford. Stupidity has proven a problem over and over and over and over and over again with QBs.

Most of these are off memory so some may be wrong.

If he goes 6-6 or 7-5 there will no doubt be questions but it will not be about him. They will be about assistants and players.

How can it not be about him? The players and assistants are a reflection of the HC. Also, I thought I remembered some of those guys playing this year. Dewberry for one. Are you sure those were out for the season?

Yes a couple of those guys where lost early in the year and I think a couple where lost mid season.

A dawg fan at my office keeps telling me Stafford will be "the next Peyton Manning"! LOL!!!

Here's an interesting story I heard on Atlanta sports talk radio yesterday...

Back in 1958 when the Lions traded Bobby Layne to the Steelers he took a parting shot at the organization saying "The Lions won't win (anything) for 50 years"... Here it is 2008, 50 years later and the "Curse of Bobby Layne" has proven true. Along comes young Matthew Stafford who, if chosen first by the Lions, has an opportunity to reverse that curse.... The kicker??? Stafford attended the same high school in Texas that Layne graduated from....

Alex....I'll take useless trivia for $100 please.... :)

That being said, it is a good time to be a strong armed QB coming out of college. There are several franchises that could add Stafford and have an automatic upgrade.
Thanks. Now I have that stupid Beyonce commercial stuck in my head.
