Stafford and Moreno to announce

Not even warm I would even say it was frigid. I will be will to bet that you would be hard pressed to find one person that donates to the school or a booster that wants him gone. I know that my circle sure wants him here as long as he is willing to stay.

Phil Fulmer

They lost their best OL and prolly their best DL before the season started. If you don't think that contributed then you are not very bright. Just ask Utah how pedestrian that big bad Alabama offensive line looked after they lost their best guy....

Of course it contributed greatly. I was posting on the board at the beginning of the season how those 2 injuries would keep them out of a NC. Are you going to tell me that is an excuse for getting embarassed by UF and Alabama when you were a pre-season #1? Every team has major injuries. UF lost a the best TE in college and the best WR in college was not at 100% most of the season. Their secondary was in shambles at the beginning of the year and they injuries to key linemen. I don't hear any excuses out of them.

Fade, I thought you had retired from the forum after Georgia performed below expectations this year. J/K..... At least you all made it to a bowl game. We didn't seem to fare that well. :)

Anyways, Richt definitely don't have anything to worry about for the time being. However, I heard lots of fans were a little upset with him for not getting rid of Martinez. I have in laws from Georgia and they think Martinez needs to go and resents Richt a little for being too loyal. Have you heard any rumblings of this?

I have heard people talking about this but it makes no sense to me. CWM has coached some of the best D's in the SEC while he has been here and we had 1 bad year and all of a sudden it is his fault. I do think the coaches should take some blame but not to the point of firing them. I remeber hearing where CMR is going to review things from top to bottom and make any changes needed.

Please, his seat haD been warming since 2002, with a spike in 2005.

And what started that? A disappointing 2001 season when we should have played for the NC. There is a very real possibility to things go downhill in a similar way. The rise of other programs in the SEC in their ability to recruit was Fulmer's downfall.

presumably you have similar excuses for the entire 3 seasons he played at UGA.

just be wary of terms like "perfect storm" or "magic dust"........if you start hearing stuff like that, run away.....far far away.

That is a big list. Is that out for the season or injured during the season? Also, how many of those guys were even in the rotation? No doubt, UGA had key injuries but that is a part of football. I personally think Richt has done a good job at UGA and last years pre-season hype was totally unwarranted and Richt should not be punished for it. However, Richt has a perception of losing big games and of "doing less with more." Do you really not think that a 6-6 or 7-5 season next year, after this year's disappointment, will not put him on the hot seat?

I assume you are talking about Stafford. BPV you and I have had discussions over this many times and we are never going to agree. He has alot of potential but to me it has not been fully reached as of yet. I have no excuses for his play but the guy has help his team win 29 games in 3 years. To me that is pretty impressive.

Not for what he was touted to be. I do think Stafford will be more successful in the NFL than Tebow, though.

I think stafford is better than any other qb going into the draft this year. he probably has the best arm out of any qb in the nation

He might have the best arm, but there is no way that I'd call him a better QB than Bradford.

Most of these are off memory so some may be wrong.

If he goes 6-6 or 7-5 there will no doubt be questions but it will not be about him. They will be about assistants and players.
