Since Return of the Jedi.
What do I win?
It never was answered how long he was in exile. After Return of the Jedi, he started training Jedi, including Ben Solo and presumably Rey, and was attempting to rebuild the Jedi order. But when Ben turned on Luke, killed other padawans, and became Kylo Ren, Luke disbanded everything and went into exile, due to guilt. How long ago Kylo turned on Luke has not yet been answered.
I don't even know that it deserves that. While the dogfighting was cool, I was highly unimpressed with the the space creatures in the freighter and Snoke.
Aruging Finn isn't a jedi.
That doesn't seem to hold true in Princess Leia's case. She doesn't seem very force sensitive even though she's anikan's daughter.
I stand corrected then.I'm not a fan of the idea of midichlorians, but Leia is tied for the 4th highest count with Luke at 14,500. Behind Anakin, Sidious, and Yoda.
They may be throwing out the idea of midichlorians, but TPM is considered canon, so maybe not.
I'm not sure about the counts of TFA characters.
Why so adamant?
The marketing lead us to believe he would be the young force wielder of this generation. The movie obviously threw a curve ball with Rey.
The other speculation is that he is related to one of the only 2 black characters that have played a major role in the movies. One who was a Jedi. One who was not. If they go the family ties route, considering what has been established about the offspring of Jedi, that puts it at right around a 50/50 chance he will be force sensitive.
Throw all that out and it's still 50/50 that the writers do or do not make him force sensitive.
Most likely he is not force strong but I don't get your insistence on it.
