I keep saying they need to do a trilogy based on the Jedi-Sith Wars. R1 showed how simple badassery based in the SW Universe sells and folks like that a lot more.

Can't go Thursday this year. First time I've missed a midnight showing since the new movies started. I may go Friday night after my mom's chemo treatment if not definitely sometime Saturday.

Actually just checked my local theater, they have 4 early showings on Thursday at 7:00 and 9:45 so I may do that.

It will be Saturday or Sunday for me.

I work third evening and have a Xmas party for wife’s work on Fri (would rather be seeing Star Wars).

People that have supposedly watched it are saying it's the best Star Wars movie ever made, that it surpasses ESB. I'm not sure if it's part of a marketing campaign or those are legit reviews, but that is intriguing.

I can’t imagine Disney/Lucasfilm gave Johnson the reins to a new trilogy unless this blew them away.

The only way, and this is my opinion, that it can be the best is if Luke Skywalker unleashes the fury on people.

I've seen reports that compare Luke to John Wick in regards to kicking ass

I've read some supposed spoilers, and they are supposedly pissing off some SW fans.

I'm not sure how to do it without spoiling, but apparently something that happens pretty much contradicts things from the original triliogy.

Nah, its all good, thanks though. Ill just find out when I go. It's Star Wars so Ive gotten used to plot holes anyway lol

Collider folks got to see the advanced screening and their initial reactions were really strong.
