A lot of the non Hayden acting that was bad was because of Lucas. There are some cut scenes of Jimmy Smits and its seriously laughable dialogue and acting..and that dude aint a bad actor.

I want the rumored stand alone Obi-Wan movie with Ewan McGregor. He was one of the few things about the prequels that I thought they knocked out of the park when they cast him. I'd love to see him play the role again and this time have a director that won't screw it up.
He's open it. I've seen an interview with him saying so. Lots of potential with that storyline
He was good in other movies I've seen, so that's why I blame the direction and script more.
I mean those prequels made several good actors seem bad.
This...a thousand times. If you just went off the prequels you probably wouldn't think Natalie Portman could act either. She is about to pick up her 2nd Academy Award nomination for Jackie and has been great in everything else.

That's crazy to think he's never been to a premier and watched one at least once. I take that as a workaholic moving on to the next project more than some slight to the franchise.
Makes you wonder what movies he has seen.
From what I understand, you'd be surprised at how many actors and people involved in making movies and shows don't actually watch the stuff they are in or watch very little of it.
I forgot who I was listening too, but I heard a podcast interview with a pretty well known veteran actress and the way she described it, once she was done on one project it was like leaving a job and that was that. She said she had actually watched very little of the things she had done. To be fair though, she admitted she didn't like watching herself act either, so in her case it may have been more of that.
I definitely believe it in television. The pace is so frantic that I could see most of the cast and crew not watching much of it. There is a reason fans can tell you every thing that happened in episode 38 of Star Trek but the the cast barely recalls even filming it.
On a related note, Jack Kirby never looked At a finished issue of Fantastic Four. He would write his own dialogue while he drew the issue then Stan would come in and write the dialogue that got published. Kirby would never see it.
I'd love to see someone rewrite ep. 1-3. I could see Anakin having contact with the dark side prior to his entering the Jedi order. The cute kid in Ep 1 just wasn't believable and neither was c3po or r2d2 appearing.

Not everybody hated Ewoks at the time. The masses didn't start hating on the Ewoks until much much later. As someone who was about 6 years old when RotJ came out I loved them and so did my friends at the time. They were mega popular. That's why they spawned a cartoon and 2 TV movies. .
I still say they need to do a Jedi-Sith War trilogy series.
