You disagree with infrastructure, police funding, fighting the opioid epidemic, and election fund transparency being federal policy items? Do you think the federal branch of govt is just gonna going to fold up and disappear or what? Talk about hopes and dreams lol
Releasing those barrels appeases those who don't understand but only see 30 million as being a high number. Same ones boast about largest job growth in 40 years but don't understand the job loss in the pandemic.Going to drain down the reserves for non emergency stuff. This is not going to help prices much. Once they do this then what? These folks solution is to weaken us through short term ideas.
It’s great that you hold your own convictions about the federal branch, but if you think they will cede power then you’re dreaming. So, we’re left with yelling at each other about what line items we think are worthwhile. Meanwhile the only ones who get what they want are the ones that can afford to lobby or blackmail (or both).I pay a crap ton of fuel taxes every year only to see roads and bridges around the country fall to crap so excuse me if I am highly skeptical of this “infrastructure“ spending actually being spent on infrastructure. The federal government has no business funding local police, fighting the opioid epidemic (they caused it) or meddling in state elections.
I think the federal government needs to be scaled back to it’s intended purpose.

Just pay for it. Like AOC said.I'm no business guru, but I run a successful one.
Can someone smarter than me explain how raising the minimum wage to $15 and increasing corporate taxes, along with significantly increased costs of fuel, shipping, supplies, etc, is supposed to cut the cost of American goods and help the economy?

It won't be. It's just another excuse to dole out kickbacks under the guise of "helping America"I pay a crap ton of fuel taxes every year only to see roads and bridges around the country fall to crap so excuse me if I am highly skeptical of this “infrastructure“ spending actually being spent on infrastructure.
