Great....well since you have so much free time why dont you put in a plug for Stephen with the powers that be?
On the comment about "pimping at the 11th hour" we have been pushing Stephens cause since this time last year. We have gotten Carter & Bryan involved but apparently they have lost there punch when coach Fulmer left the program. So your comment doesnt hold water.....

Might explain part of Fulmer's problems if he was listening to the likes of Carter Runyon! Might I suggest that you try reaching out to Alan Jones.
I'm sure your sis has his number. BTW I have touted Stephen on here for a while now. I just like to rile you up! You are so easy! Like my boy Greenie!

by the way

Sorry I am a bit slow today......you got me guessing!
Apparently you are someone who knows our family quite well especially when you drop the "Grennie" name....

If you can offer Stephen any help with the VOLS that would be much appreciated....

Carter offered to help.....but as we have seen that didnt get us anything.
I did get a laugh when you dropped the "Grennie" name.....that is something only a golfer would know and one that knows that is a nickname for both Dad & Chuck....give me some more info on your identity?

My minister, my attorney or my banker.....

Now think of someone the only reason you would call is because you needed him....he doesn't go to Springbrook and he doesn't run with the elite but the elite has him on speed dial....

I suppose I need to come up with a better username next time if I want to keep my identity a guessing game?

Back to Stephen.....I still believe the VOLS are missing the boat on him but whatever.

There are only 8 kickers in the country listed on Rivals and only 4 of them get 2 stars. Just found that interesting.

One of them is Josh Davis out of Dayton, TN, who has Tennessee, Ole Miss, and MTSU on his list. Are the Vols counting on Josh?

Here is the list:
Mike Loftus 5.4 6-2/190/- Anaheim, CA 9 SMU
Pete Kontodiakos 5.4 6-3/185/- Clearwater, FL NR
Monte Merrick 5.3 6-2/180/- Pineville, KY 23 Western Kentucky
Nick Ferrara 5.0 6-1/195/- Melville, NY NR Maryland
Chandler Catanzaro - 6-2/165/- Greenville, SC NR
Josh Davis - 5-11/187/4.9 Dayton, TN NR
Joshua Kahley - 6-1/195/- Greenville, SC NR
Cameron Starke - 5-10/165/- South Boston, VA NR

Were any of these guys at the competition in Houston?

I dont see any of these names on the list....one thing that is interesting about the success that Stephen had in Houston was that he was competing in the college division. There were several senior high players in this division but there were also several juco players. You can go to cPanel® and there is a good bit of info on the series and the results from all stages.
As far as Rivals and the other ranking sites the info is a bit slanted in my opinion as some of those you have to pay a fee to them and then they make you look good if you dont pay the fee you dont get mentioned especially if you are a kicker as they seem to be at the bottom of the food chain.

All jokes aside...this kid is indeed the real deal. I watched him for 4 years and he improved more from his frosh to sr season than any player I have ever seen. I have also seen the kid at Dayton as well as the ones at Maryville and CAK. All great kickers. Stansell is clutch and can kick with any of em. UT would be very wise to give him a shot!
