And I'm having a hard time understanding how you guys are choosing harp on his alleged sins at the time of his death. You are probably the same folks who made Michael Jackson jokes last week, aren't you?
Anyone who will try to argue that a good man's death was justifiable immediately afterwards is just not the kind of person I have a lot in common with.
Oh, and he is a former football player. It's not his job to teach kids what is right and wrong. That's a parent's job.
I think he went to end the relationshipI am very interested to see where this story is going to go, I think he realized this relationship wasn't appropriate for either of them, and he was ending it, or she was pregnant and he did not want her to have his child for obvious reasons. I think it much more likely to be the former.
He has 4 kids...I say it is his job to teach THEM what is right and wrong, and I'd say by his actions he's pretty much teaching them that cheating on your wife is ok.
And I think you're pretty naive if you think him and his wife had an "open" relationship.
I don't think that. My point there was simply that nobody but the McNairs know what was going on behind the scenes. Maybe you are naive if you don't believe stuff like that is very real in celebrity relationships. Let's just say I (used to be) friends with a Kansas City Chief who has a very open relationship.
This is getting off of the point. I'm not wanting to argue whether or not his wife knew he might have been sleeping around. I'm not arguing that infidelity is in any way acceptable. I'm simply frustrated that people love to look at something like this and act high and mighty like they have no demons in their own closets.
Sure he is responsible for teaching his own kids right and wrong. Too bad he didn't get a chance to teach his kids from his alleged mistake. I say alleged not because infidelity isn't wrong, but because we still aren't sure what his relationship was with this woman.
Every single person on here has done something wrong and probably very embarrassing in their lives. Did you deserve to die because of it?
HECK NO!
Now, did Steve McNair...just because he's in the public eye?
Of course not!
tennessean.com has tons of coverage on this,
whole thing seems fishy the guy who found them dead didnt call the police he called a friend.
some girl that night accussed steve mc of giving her a roofie a year ago and that her boyfriend was going to kill him
that girlfriend of mcnair got a dui that night
not to mention that girl wasnt all that hot.
if i am going to cheat on my wife with a chick young enough to be my daughter then she ought to be pretty hot.
all that being said i loved mcnair in college and in the pros
think i saw him play against UTC in college
it's actually a pretty well known fact that most people panic in emergency/freak situations and call a friend over 911. The other tidbits are interesting, but I think it's just a relationship gone bad. Either between McNair and the girl or the girl and her ex.
Is or was he a tight end by any chance? My wife's friend is married to his cousin. And it is a known fact in the family that they have unconventional arrangements.
I will take your word for it. I guess its easy to question from here.
Fortunately for me i have never been in that situation
According to Kazemi's sister who was interviewed by phone on one of the Nashville news stations last night, Steve and his wife were close to finalizing a divorce at which time he and Sahel would begin living together.Yes that was sad...
This situation is sad but only for his kids, wife and the rest of the family. What goes around comes around! Had he been where he was supposed to be this wouldn't have happened. Apparently this isn't the 1st time he was cheated on his wife.
