This situation is sad but only for his kids, wife and the rest of the family. What goes around comes around! Had he been where he was supposed to be this wouldn't have happened. Apparently this isn't the 1st time he was cheated on his wife.

Wow, my jaw dropped after reading that statement, unbelievable. And where exactly was he supposed to be? People can speculate all they want on the circumstances around this, but in no way should this be what goes around comes around with death.

They might've finally decided to get divorced. But a divorce wasn't about to be finalized if nothing had even been filed in court yet. It's a very lengthly process from the time you actually file for divorce til the time it's finalized.

It certainly stinks of celebrity preferential treatment. If the vehicle was registered in his name as well I would think he would be in violation of DUI consent laws here in TN.

I'm actually hearing some rumors that he and his wife have actually been seperated a good while now. I heard it from friends that "know" ex Titan players, so take it with a grain of salt.

well considering she hadn't "heard" from him in several days leading up to that, i believe the reports about them heading toward divorce

fwiw i read that it ws the same cop who had given him his dui a few years back. he might be a smooth talker or she may have just pitched a huge fit and warranted the extra attention. but he must have been intoxicated to some point for not being able to take the vehicle. as for the consent laws, would that hold him accountable even with her name also on the title? anyone know how that applies?

That's kind of usually how it is, one person mentions they are ready to part ways probably because they are ready to try it with someone else. I'm not sure how it is in Tennessee, but here all you have to do is live in separate places for a year duration and then the divorce papers can be filed and its just in the matter of the judge signing off on it. So its usually already living separate lives and just waiting for it legally to be done. Why should anyone wait around for another person when the inevitable legally will happen as it was decided?
