Steve McNair found, shot to death

It's just hard to believe that a 20 year old woman would pull the trigger, 2 in each temple, and 2 to the chest, then on herself. It probably happened that way, but it's hard to believe. Even from 3 feet away, it's not hard to miss your target.

Even more, it doesn't make any sense. Why would she do that? Most everyone in her family says that she was a glowing person.

I don't know. Maybe I should stop making this more than it is. But something's up here. I don't know what it is, but there's gotta be more to the story.

Exactly. Not like anyone ever says - yea, we always thought that bi*ch was crazy, we saw this coming all along.

Yep. How many serial killers were described as nice, quiet neighbors and that they'd be the last person they'd suspect?

Please do not add fuel to the fire of the deluded tin hat wearers who are crying conspiracy theory. This is obvously a fairly cut and dried situation and the police are just making doubly sure that all T's are crossed and I's dotted due to the victim's stature in the community.

Chief Serpas is doing the presser now. They are saying the official conclusion is murder suicide, as suspected. It has come to light that Kasimi recently discovered that McNair was seeing a third woman and the police suspect that this was part (or all) of her motive.

She was fine with being the other woman.......being the other, other woman must have been too much for her to deal with? What a waste all the way around!

Wow.

Just hate to see it end like this. Nothing excuses the actions and poor decisions Steve has apparently made, but there's about two reasons in the world to pull a trigger to kill a human being and that's in self-defense of yourself, and defense of someone you love. Infidelity, no matter how bad it hurts feelings and destroys relationships, should never reach this kind of pinnacle.

Part of me is upset that she killed herself, making it near impossible to learn anymore true facts and details about the crime. But another part of me is glad it's over and we don't have to sit through a trial full of ridiculous defenses for Kazemi, dragging at least the professional life of Steve McNair through the ringer.

Well regardless of his celebrity...I pretty much believe had she not killed herself that she would have basically gotten off for doing it. As you said, the defense would turn her into some victim and pretty much even more dirty laundry about McNair would be aired.

The fact that she bought a gun just a few days before the killing would be the end of her chances of being found innocent.

Yeah, I don't think she would've gotten off the hook, I simply think the trial would just be a ridiculous media circus and cause the whole process to just further damage how people will think of Steve retrospectively.

Hardly....you underestimate the power of lawyers and the victim status.

This is the same state that let off a woman for shooting her preacher husband in the back while he was sleeping; they got a jury to believe it was in self-defense.

I stand by what I say...she would have basically gotten a slap on the wrist.

I wish I could post the article but I don't know how! She wasn't the innocent little victim. The cops said he was asleep when she shot him.

I didn't say she WAS innocent...I'm saying lawyers would paint her that way. I think we've seen enough high profile cases to know that facts don't always matter when it comes to the final verdict.

Her husband was not a beloved celebrity, he was a domineering man who was alleged to have been abusive, and given his controlling nature even many in his church believed he was abusive.

I in no way am overlooking the power that victim status has when it comes to the law, especially when it is a woman, however in this case with the evidence that had come to light being equal, save Sahel's death it would have been a pretty open and shut case. She would have plead down in a deal I suspect.

Not one shred of that was proven...NONE of it. Everything was speculative and opinion. NO abuse could be proven. What could be proven is the witch shot him in the back with a shotgun while he slept and even initially lied about the circumstances. And yet she got a slap on the wrist. To most people with common sense...THAT case was open and shut.

Apparently the jury thought it had been proven.
