And domestic violence. I see Ra Ra is playing. There's a special culture in Athens to overlook all the legal issues.

Case was dismissed because it was BS.

Also, the alleged case against then 16-yr-old recruit Jamaal Jarrett was BS. Investigators found the text messages from the psycho woman who had repeated sexual relations with him, then freaked out when he didn't respond fast enough to her text while on a recruiting trip.

ALSO, the AJC reporter who wrote the so-called "investigative report" was fired. It was found the writer had previously been fired from another newspaper for false stories.

You're contradicting yourself.

You just posted tonight speeding tickets are no big deal with you're "we're just talking about speeding tickets". But now these supposed tickets you alone know about from the Tennessee program that are being covered up are a big deal.

Which is it? Are speeding tickets a big deal or not?

Again, driving drunk and putting others lives at risk is a VERY big deal!

Driving over the speed limit is something everyone has done and most people continue to do every day.

The AJC, like most newspapers, is failing and is competing with internet gossip sites, so they've had to retract a couple of stories and fire a writer for false reports.

In the grand scheme of things this is just a game, and you are basically approving of acts that have already taken the life of two of your own. Your fan base is classless and the fact you feel the need to post on a rival website shows how juvenile and attention starved you are.

Three peat who gives a f*** you schedule light weights and have a schedule that would rival Michigans.. End of the day your still a fan of a dog that can hardly breathe, bark at each other like you have a trisomy of some sort, and your team has sold its soul. Reap the whirlwind. Go back to your own board.

This is just silly, we have no control over our 8-game SEC schedule.

We always end the season (rivalry week) with Georgia Tech, this is scheduled a decade in advance.

We go out of our way to schedule the biggest non-conference game possible. For example:

2021 Clemson
2022 Oregon
2023 Oklahoma (cancelled by SEC due to realignment)
2024 Clemson
2025 UCLA
2026 UCLA
2027 Florida State
2028 Florida State
2029 Clemson
2030 Clemson
2031 Ohio State
2032 Clemson
2033 Clemson

Of course, many of these games are scheduled a decade in advance and no one can project how strong any team will be.

Also, it's a two way street, when the SEC cancelled the OU game, do you think its easy finding a replacement? Who WANTS to play Georgia? No, we have to pay millions to some cupcake to complete our schedule.

Most of all, its jealous fanbases hating on the Dawgs while we are in the middle of a 3peat.

Nice try but this isn't about isolated 10 miles over the limit tickets.

However it Is readily apparent that numerous driving 20+ miles over the speed limit incidents, street racing, multiple fatalities and fleeing the scene of a fatal accident are not a big deal to UGA at least as long as winning continues.

A drunk staffer, not apart of the team, took the vehicle without permission and went against protocol. If she would of survived, would have obviously been fired.

BTW, the other alleged individual fleeing the scene was no longer part of the team or university.

Since that tragedy, some speeding tickets, like every campus everywhere.

If staffers are "not part of the team" and apparently not of any significance, why not fire or at least suspend Jarvis Jones, another staffer? That would at a minimum show some concern for this ongoing issue. That he's the latest offender being "punished internally" shows UGA doesn't give a damn about any of this regardless of the body count.

^^^Oh right, because Kirby kicked him off the team, huh? That’s about the lamest retort I think I’ve ever read on a sports forum.

You are NOT repping the UGA fan base well, nor making any real points on a Vol fan site. You’re just trying to downplay the serial brain dead actions by DOZENS of UGA players/staff, AFTER two people were killed this year street racing, with one of the racers being UGA’s star player in 2022-23.

Since the drag racing deaths, multiple key players have been arrested including drag racing, DUI, driving 90 in a 45, driving 89 in a 45, driving 89 thru a construction zone, etc. This was on city streets, not freeways.

Kenny McIntosh sent a lady to the hospital this year after crashing into her vehicle, while driving 20+ mph over the limit, Reckless Driving, and not wearing a seat belt.

Then there was the star LB from 2021 Adam Anderson sentenced a month ago to a year in jail for multiple Sexual Batteries committed while in Athens as a key team member.

No doubt I’m forgetting some more classless, brain dead stunts by UGA players this year. UGA has a current problem with player/staff character and smarts that goes way beyond minor speeding tickets.

Fire Jarvis Jones for speeding?

Should everyone be fired from their jobs for a traffic ticket? 🙃

It's interesting that Coach Kirby Smart has admitted it's a problem, has said they've failed to solve it, has had the Georgia State Patrol in to address the team specifically about speeding, and has insisted that it's NIL related because players are able to get faster cars and IN HIS WORDS tickets for faster speeds.

That's what the COACH is saying, not me.

BTW, at the time of the accident, Carter was a former player who had already declared for the draft.

Do you want Kirby to kick kids off the team for a traffic ticket?

Should the other students get kicked out of school for a traffic ticket?

Also, just because they won't announce it, it doesn't mean players don't get suspended from games and other punishments.

I certainly don't think it's good but Kirby does not owe it to anyone to announce how he decides to handle internal discipline issues.

But you're in here saying "it's just like any other school" when no other SEC coach I know of is addressing it in statements.

It's a big problem at GA. Kirby admits he can't control it. It's resulted in deaths. It's continuing.

You're being disrespectful to the young people who lost their lives due to the school's ADMITTED problem. You really are a dog.

Again, a staffer drunk driving is completely different issue, than players getting speeding tickets.

People at my job continue to get speeding tickets as well. Not saying it's good but it's right up there with jaywalking and not wearing your seatbelt.

Those are infractions, not even misdemeanors.

Maybe Kirby should fine them and take some NIL money from them?

I understand, you're claiming a moral victory because you can't get one on the field against the Dawgs.

Can we get a mod in here to take this guy off the board?

Driving over the speed limit never kills anyone. Oh wait …. UGA is under the microscope but they caused it themselves. Kirby has shown no guts to resolve the issue. Suspend people and the problem will disappear instead the players/coaches know there are no consequences to their action.

UGA clearly has a big character, discipline, and lack of intelligence issue in its football program.

If I’m an UGA fan, I’m rooting for UGA to get it under control, and to recruit kids with better character going forward. I’m not on another team’s message board trying to downplay drag racing deaths, sexual battery convictions, drag racing convictions, DUI convictions, and women hospitalized by a player’s Reckless Driving as a “traffic ticket” issue. It makes you look stupid and/or disingenuous and/or accepting poor character for your players/staff. Not a good look for you & UGA.

Starting X-receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint was clocked at 90 mph in a 45.

Kirby did suspend him although it wasn't announced to media. He didn't play in Week 1.

No where did I downplay deaths or DUIs.

My argument was about speeding tickets only. Incidents which were handled internally, Kirby doesn't need to tell you.

Players have been noticeably gone because they were suspended from games without any announcement.
