They’ve definitely gone more into the horror route with the first episode. It was pretty good.

Oh yeah. I mean it’s nothing I haven’t seen before, but for this shows norm that got pretty intense. I really like the way the first episode was shot and the overall tone that was set in some scenes.

It was like a nod to the first Evil Dead movie (they even had a poster on the wall) and the first Nightmare On Elmstreet.

I’m on episode 5. I am thoroughly impressed with this season. I know people were saying it should have already ended. The overhauled tone they have set for the show is a breath of fresh air. Now that I’m this far in I can confidently say this is extremely nightmare on elm street-esque.

Just finished the new season. Wife and I loved every bit of it. The new darker vibe this season had was right on the money I thought. Luckily we only have to wait 5 more weeks for the second volume of season 4. There’s only 2 episodes though and look at these run times:

“The two episodes in Volume 2 will keep that same energy: Episode 8 is going to be 1 hour and 25 minutes, and the Episode 9 finale will be a staggering 2 hours and 30 minutes.”

This is a 3 ring circus, got the angry jocks, the stoner guys and Will, eleven training, the russians, and the core group story lines. It will be interesting how it comes together.

Funny enough I've done a 180 on this (or 360 I guess). I used to like dropping them all at once, but after Hulu and Disney Plus did weekly and Amazon Prime went to dropping 2 a week with their bigger shows I now am back to preferring a weekly release.

I liked S4 so far. My only gripes are that I felt like they could have trimmed some of the episodes and

I thought the reveal of who Venca really is was kinda lame.

Same. Especially for any online discussion. Everyone is mostly going at the same pace whereas a full season drop some may be 2 or 3 episodes ahead or behind.
