Stranger Things

Y'all are making it too complicated. Hopper is the American. Dr. Brenner came with the cavalry the Russians did not capture him.

It might not have stuck out to most people in remembrance of the final episode but if you recently viewed the final episode there was a huge, purposeful black screen gap right when Joyce turned the keys. When the scene came back Hopper was nowhere to be seen and you immediately see the Russians in red hazmat suits explode. Hopper is either in the Inbetween or when he jumped through the hole he somehow went through the Inbetween and came out on the Russian side(assuming they didn't really stop trying to laser the gate back in Russia).

Bob is definitely dead and Dr Brenner was killed by the Demogorgon in season 1.

It’s obvious Hopper is alive. We didn’t SEE him die. Not even a fried body.

I hope it’s not Hopper. The note he wrote to El (or the speech he was going to give), read in the way it was, seemed like a goodbye. Bringing him back would cheapen his sacrifice.
