They likely made a mistake by not sending him to 2nd on Bazzana's first pitch (a called strike) since they weren't even holding him on. It's possible that doing so would have prompted UK to just put Bazzana on, anyway, but who knows. If not, the kid scores easily on Bazzana's hit and the game is tied.Oregon St played so bad that they should have just sent the runner on the hit and hoped the catcher dropped the ball at home or the throw was offline…there was no way they were getting another hit
