You’re taking away the massive void left by the total collapse of FSU and Miami tanking... UNC was irrelevant so it’s not like they had the same challenging situation that Tennessee unfortunately has. Clemson can’t be used as a fair comparison for Tennessee unless they deal with the same situation. I doubt Clemson takes the meteoric rise they experienced had they recruited at that 2-3 star level while competing every year with Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. Throw in the rotation west team means one year it’s Miss St then the next it’s LSU... it’s just a lot more difficult for Tennessee with that path than it was for Clemson.
Just means when we get back to being good, and we will, we’ll be really good...

Destin and Keaten Wade are set to take a visit up to Virginia the first week of April. Kentucky is the other team in the mix and can’t be discounted as they plan on visiting Lexington the week after but the Vols continue to sit in a good spot based off everything we are told. Expect a decision to come down after April 15th.

Let’s start with players inside the state of Tennessee this week. Destin and Keaten Wade are in Virginia the next couple of days to see Charlottesville and the campus. From there they will head to Kentucky next weekend before announcing at their school on April 16th. We still believe Tennessee continues to trend well there but the Vols will need to finish this one out the next couple of weeks.

There seems to be conflicting information from different sites. Wiltfong thinks it’s us, UVA 247 says between them and Kentucky, and Kentucky Rivals thinks it’s them. AP is the guy I’m going to be following but he did say that Vols have to close strong so it doesn’t seem like a lock just yet.

Volster1999: Still feeling good about the Wade twins?

Callahan: I would still lean toward Tennessee being the team to beat. The Vols still have to hold on down the stretch, so we’ll see if the trip to Kentucky this weekend changes anything. But what I’ve heard still points to Tennessee being the team to beat.

I guess we will find out a week form Friday.
