Superman vs Batman movie coming in 2015!

I read comics when I was younger, but I wasn't a DC guy. So I'm not at all familiar with the source material for the film and, had I been, maybe I would have enjoyed it more. But then, I'm not really familiar with any of the source material for the Dark Knight trilogy, and I loved all three films.

I saw it for the first time yesterday. I enjoyed Ben Affleck's Batman and Gadot's WW. I thought Lex Luthor was well done, manipulative and brilliant. I thought the fight scenes near the end were very good.

I felt like the things I liked were overshadowed by poor pacing and a lack of flow to the story. Disjointed is the best word I can think of. It felt like, to me anyway, that they tried to cram 2 separate movies (the SvB story + Justice League origins) into one overly long epic. I didn't read or follow DC Comics much as a kid (unlike Marvel which I read anything I could get my hands on) but that didn't lessen my love of the Dark Knight Trilogy, so I don't think it is bias at work... overall by the time the movie started getting good and captured my attention I felt sorta like I had wasted the previous hour.

Overall good not great but with excellent individual performances, especially by Affleck. JMO

Funny thing . I thought this movie should of been 3 hours long .. Justice league cameos were way to short

I saw this on Friday and it was terrific.

This has more focus on why there is distrust and hostility with Superman and Batman less on action. All of which is believable.
The climax fight involving Doomsday was amazing and great to see Lex Luther gave him his name.

Wonder Woman fans will be happy to see the amazon warrior on the big screen finally and kicking ass.
Also 3 super heroes shown from Lexcorp secret files.

They weren't way to short. They were shown for more 8 seconds. Its not like the Punisher in Spider Man 2 that was a very small appearence.

Uggh. If you want to give the JL guys another 5 minutes or so, I can see that. But there's at least 35-40 minutes of fat that needed to be trimmed. 3 hours would have had me actively booing in the cinema as if the people on the screen could hear me.

I actually think one of the issues with this movie was it was to short . The plot was kinda jumpy because of deleted scenes

Irons is British so hard to say he isn't perfect as Alfred.
I'll be seeing this movie again with a friend.

Its obvious Luther is talking about Darkseid near the end.

There are collectible superman and batman bins at the theater I saw it. I'll return to buy those when seeing a movie at that theater again.

I just watched MoS for the first time over the weekend. Meh. I'm with the ones saying the Snyder take on Superman is just...off.

It may be a crazy point to make, but I almost wish he was portrayed in a similar fashion to the way Marvel has handled Captain America if that makes any sense.

I'll reserve total judgment until I see BvS this weekend.

I think a lot of people was just shocked when MOS came out and this take on the character wasn't the charming, happy go lucky version of the Chris Reeve films or Superman Returns. I actually liked the characterization that we see in MOS & BvS and I think its more true to real life in the times we live in where practically everyone is seen with suspicion and guilty until proven innocent and Superman is still trying to see where he fits in the world.

I think in BvS, Clark still sees a world where even after all these years a lot of people still don't trust him and think he is the reason Zod attacked and wonder why he was hiding for 30 years on earth (as Zod told the world when he showed up) and others like Lex, Bruce etc.. think he is dangerous and needs to be destroyed.

Or the animated series, or Smallville, or Lois and Clark, etc...

Would u just go watch the movie already ... If u hate it then that's fine but at least know what u hate instead of being a hater

LOL I refuse to give it my money. Voting with me wallet (and complaining on a sports message board)

I've watched all the trailers and prerelease clips and listened to a few spoiler reviews. From those various sources I can tell it's pretty much the movie I expected it to be.
