Superman vs Batman movie coming in 2015!

We have a good one that we normally go to after church for movies. 7 dollars and in DLP

Seats are super comfy and they have a button on the side that reclines the seat into almost a laying down position. Also have these trays that can turn into you like your very own table

That's what my local theater has.

Just saw the movie. was ok, but not a huge fan (though I've never really liked superman, so that plays a part I'm sure).

Jesse Eisenberg did well as Lex, Affleck did better than I expected as batman, and I like Amy Adams.

Just saw it and liked it better than all the Avenger movies.

Affleck was a very good Wayne and Batman. I was a huge fan of Keaton and hated the others.

Only part I hated was the Aquaman scene...just kinda corny how long they focused on his face.

B+

You're saying a B+ was a higher rating for you than all the Avengers movies?

I really liked it. I've always liked Batman, but I personally liked superman in this film over the other superman movies. I was afraid I wouldn't like Ben as Batman, but he done good imo.

I just saw it as well...

I thought it was good, but not as good as the top end Marvel stuff. I thought Affleck was good as Batman and really liked all the characters all the way around. It was a tad slow in spots but not enough to bother me.

Ive seen a lot of criticism as to how Superman is portrayed. I think you have to be pretty big into the comic book angle to really notice it. I really enjoyed the movie and never found myself questioning how he was presented, but I was never that into the DC stuff.

I would go see it again. Just my .02.

I will say that I loved that scene where superman went before the senate committee. Totally didn't see that coming until she turned her glass around. *i don't think that's a spoiler

Spoilers should be OK by now, right? Movie has been out a week. Stay out of the thread about the movie if you don't want it spoiled, IMO...

I liked it. I don't understand why the critics are so hard on it. There was one major writing problem* for me, but I can overlook that.

**LL is so calculated...creating Doomsday....how does that fit into a mastermind scheme? How did he plan on using the alien technology and voodoo to create a monster when he started rolling out his plan way before getting access to Zod and the ship? Makes no sense. He was just flying by the seat of his pants into the great unknown, something LL wouldn't do, and somehow it works.

I am a comic book nerd. I have owned spawn edition 1 since it was published and the knightfall series...my point is I have been reading comics for decades and knew who dead pool was years ago.

The avenger movies are blah to me.

Here is my rankings.

Dark knight A+
Captain america A
winter soldier A
Batman A
Batman Returns A-
incredible hulk ed Norton A-
Batman begins A-
Batman vs superman B+
Iron man B+
Thor dark realm B+
A vengers B-
Batman Rises B-
A vengers 2 C+
Iron man 2 and 3 C-
Thor C-
HULK D
SPIDER-MAN...ALL...D

I did not rank superman 2 because there are two versions and honestly I saw them when I was so young I am bias.

Superman returns is an f though.

I actually had no idea about Superman 2, this prompted me to look it up. Quite an interesting story.

As for your list, respectable for the most part, but the first Captain America is an A? I consider that the weakest of the MCU movies, with Thor: The Dark World being the next weakest.

I think Avengers is about as good as it gets when it comes to superhero movies. I also (I'm very aware that I stand alone on this) believe Age of Ultron was every bit as good as the first Avengers. AoU has only one major flaw as far as I'm concerned, and that's the fact that there was really no point to the movie from the standpoint of advancing the MCU.

But I digress.... DC is going to have to really step up their game if they want to compete with Marvel. If they can pull of Suicide Squad that will carry a ton of weight, but they are already going back and doing reshoots of SS now. That's not a good sign this late in the game.

Supposedly they are doing edits because SS trailer showed every single joke in the movie.

Age of Ultron is a C for me because I have never been a huge Ultron fan. The movie is fine. I just dont like him.

I think they set up planet hulk at the end and that would be awesome!!!

Finally got around to seeing it last night. Give it 3.5/5 Decent action scenes, but the movie was all over the place. DC really needs to consider another Director for the next Justice League rather than Snyder.

Despite the reviews from critics with Batman v. Superman passing the $700 Million mark worldwide.

Today Warner Brothers announced the release dates to two "Untitled DC Comics films"

Untitled DC Film (2018) - 10/5/18
Untitled DC Film (2019) - 11/1/19

It's possible that these will be Parts 2 & 3 of Justice League or one will be Justice league and the other the long rumored Ben Affleck directed DC Cinematic universe Batman film.
