Support thread for Coach Fulmer.

PLEASE!!

Since when did a fan on a message board talking about the plusses of a bowl game mean that the University was aiming for that bowl, or aiming for less than a BCS game?

Simply because I listed some things I like about the bowl in Atlanta does NOT mean I'm "content" with Tennessee going to it, or that I'm a Vandy fan....which is a dumbass comparison considering they don't go to bowls and I am talking about the highest paying, largest attended non-BCS game.

My only freaking point was that you whiny ass Anti-Vols are STUPID for badmouthing a bowl that pays more than any other non-BCS bowl simply because Tennessee going there a few years ago, fits your doomsday scenario.

UT shouldnt aim for any thing less

I'm pretty sure they don't start the season hoping to get to the Music City Bowl. Even though I'd take that after last season.

Don't you know OrangeSquare that this board is sometimes referred to as "Taken out of Context Central? :biggrin2:

Fulmer needs to change his coaching methods;
If he wants to win another championship.
Regardless of what happened last year,
Even the most critical fan wants to see a turnaround.

Hope Fulmer get its done,
I dont know what to expect
Maybe 8-9 wins.

Realize its tough for some vol fans to support Fulmer,
Even with Cutcliffe on board.
Team needs to turn around next year and
I hope Cutcliffe and Fulmer can do it.
Running a spread offense with
Eric Ainge should help.

Hoping for the best next year, and
I'm expecting a turnaround.
Depends a lot on
Eric Ainge's development.

Time will tell if
Having Eric work with Cutcliffe will get
Eric's confidence back.

Coach Fulmer is really on the hotseat
And I bet he realizes it. He
Needs to show a lot of improvement.
Depends a lot on the schedule and the
Young players maturing quickly.

Fulmer needs to change his coaching methods;
If he wants to win another championship.
Regardless of what happened last year,
Even the most critical fan wants to see a turnaround.

Hope Fulmer get its done,

Is this some kind of weird, Big Orange Haiku?

If your description for what is usually the 3rd or 4th choice for a bowl game in the SEC is an euphamism designed to make yourself feel better by getting passed over by the BCS, Citrus and Outback Bowls, then go for it. Just don't expect anyone with common sense or a desire to be better than 3rd or 4th best in the SEC to buy it.

PS Don't know why my post got deleted while this one of his appears to be ok?

Found the secret message. A regular Nostradamus oklavol is.

I'm behind him and the Coaching staff. I'm glad we added the new guys and it doesn't bother me about their level of expierance. I think we needed the enthusiasm more than the credentials.

I solidly support Coach Fulmer. He has been the best thing we have had since the General. His recruiting ability is one of, if not the, best in the nation. If he has a fault, from my humble perspective, its the appearance the he has been too tolerant of discipline problems and maybe too loyal to underperforming coaches.

I am with him and expect this season to be a diametric reversal of last year. I will not be surprised to see us play for the SEC Championship and get another BCS Bowl.
