Supreme Court kills affirmative action in university admissions

He doesn't represent the best interests of the black community. He serves his own best interests, which has always involved keeping in good stead with rich, white Republican men.

Is it in the best interest of any ethnicity to be opposed to merit based outcomes?

Is that's the case we would know when our favorite sports teams would win the championship.

With that said the Vols won the national championship in January 1999... Only 93 more years to go.

They hate black people for not staying on their plantation & panic when one leaves.
Democrats want all blacks to stay on their plantation & not to have independent thought.

Robert Byrd was a member of the KKK. The real life Ku Klux Klan. Yet was loved by democrats

We should all be in favor of merit based admissions, promotions, hirings, ... etc.

However, Republicans over-simplify the discussion, when they begin with the assumption that members of each race are beginning on equal footing, in a country with the history of inequality such as the United States.

What laws are currently in place that prohibits the poorest among us from doing anything they want?

President Biden said "poor kids are just as bright as white kids"

BTW what a stupid insanely racist comment that the left was completely ok with. But if President Biden is correct and "poor kids" are bright what is to stop them?

The last thing I will say about this and it is a critique of both sides .... The Supreme Court is very much a political body now. We pretty much know how each of the Justices are going to rule based on who appointed them. Political ideology is guiding Constitutional interpretation to an extreme.

If liberals love diversity, inclusion, etc. And liberals are running liberal colleges, why is AA needed in the admissions process?

EEOC Commissioner: There Will Be More Challenges to Already Illegal DEI, Corporate Race Programs After SCOTUS College Ruling

On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America Reports,” Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Commissioner Andrea Lucas predicted that the Supreme Court’s ruling on racial preferences in college admissions will lead to an increased amount of challenges to already illegal corporate DEI programs and other methods of sneaking in race preferences.

Lucas said, “I think this is going to be a wake-up call for employers. Today is a time — the best time for lawyers to really take a look at the lawfulness of their corporate diversity programs. Even though many employers don’t use the word affirmative action, it’s rampant today, from ESG, to focuses on equity, pretty much everywhere, there’s a ton of pressure at the corporate 100 across corporate America to take race-conscious decision-making — race-conscious actions in employment law, and that’s been illegal and it’s still illegal.”

There was a ruling recently that was 8-1 (if not unanimous) and Biden whined about it.

Was that decision politically motivated?

Democrats are wanting to pack the SCOTUS now so they can get their way in rulings.
That's one reason why they're mad as a hornets nest .... not getting rulings to favor them.

It's their attitude on display showing their arrogance & we'll do what the F we want.

State run institutes of "higher learning" will only understand when our elected representatives have the C.O. JONES to hit them where it makes them listen best. $$$$ college have to go back to being neutral and allowing dissenting opinions and take swift action to "peaceful protests (violent mobs who kidnap women swimmers speaking out against 6/4 men changing in the same locker rooms")

This would be speed that rivals the amount of time it takes France to surrender during war time.

Extreme is when the libs reached into the constitution yanked out Roe v Wade. Then they selectively placed abortion centers in predominantly black areas. Doesn't this seem like racism to you?
