Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes tells U.S. Supreme Court to shove it
radical right wing Scotus
go ahead and ignore the supreme law of the land and prepare to get ur ass personally sued
That propaganda piece, as is the case with most media types pushing the authoritarian agenda, blatantly misstates the facts.
The owner never claimed that she "wouldn't serve same-sex couples." In fact, in every case we've seen so far, the owner has demonstrated a history of serving those attracted to their same sex. At least one owner had a long-standing friendship and business relationship with tbe plaintiffs suing her.
The issue was the event or occasion.
Breaking it down:
The owner wouldn't design a site advertising a same-sex wedding for a homosexual customer.
The owner wouldn't design a site advertising a same-sex wedding for a heterosexual customer.
The owner would design a site advertising an opposite-sex wedding for a homosexual customer.
The owner would design a site advertising an opposite-sex wedding for a heterosexual customer.
Completely consistent. No customer is being "discriminated against" on the basis of their sexual desires. Everyone is being treated equally.
