I definitely hope SwiperBoy continues rapping; not only to promote the university and Renaldo's career in music, but simply to irritate the closed-minded, racist morons on this blogsite. Hate the game not the playa'...hahah

Man this sucks, I loved his music also & as well made me feel great to be a Vol & that we had him.

Nose up Swiper.

It's mostly because everyone thinks its affecting his performance on the court and him not practicing 24/7 like he has no life.

I am a big fan of his. His music makes me proud to be a Vol fan.

I really don't understand "grown" men being so hell bent on trying to knock somebody down~especially when the person isn't deserving of it and is only doing something he loves. It really speaks to the kind of men they are.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. He is a Vol and a lot of his music pertains to being a vol. I don't see why everyone has to go and bash the guy for having talent and supporting his university.

I don't particularly like his music, but I actually didn't mind him working on it the way he did. He plays ball for a scholarship so he can get a degree and become a pro in something else. He has had a passion for music all his life, apparently, so I support his passion. I have no idea if it ever took away from his practice time, or if he just focused time that would have gone to homework on his music. Either way, I hope he keeps with the producing if that's what he wants to do after graduation. You can't get a job out of college in the field you want without currently having a job in the field you want. That was the case with my major, at least.

Are you a Klan member or something?

I'm not a Klan member, but I am something - a music lover. I haven't heard many rap tunes that don't sound like every other rap tune. But I can't say they're all bad. I have heard a few clever ones.

So every D1 basketball player has the ability to be an AA if they practice enough? Or just Reinaldo? Either answer is 100% wrong.

Renaldo has not done anything note worthy as a player. Maybe if he decided to get serious about basketball, he could finally earn his scholarship.

Being a former collegiate athlete, I can tell you that there is a difference between being on scholarship and earning a scholarship. One is a taker/user and one is a giver.

I can't argue with you, but I don't get into poetry much either............. I hear that there are some pretty remarkable people that have done some pretty remarkable poems........ (my English Profs told me).

I do wish SB the best of luck in life; in music or sports.
It seems like he may cut out to be an entertainer.

I'm all for him, and hope that he is a VFL.
Use your scholarship to be the best that you can be. (is that copywrited?)

I couldn't care less if he wants to rap. What I think is a joke is how he claims to be the "best new rapper" out there and explains how he is so "underappreciated." I find his arrogance amusing.

He really claims this, or what you intemperate?

He's just doesn't have game. Since you are a former collegiate athlete, you should be able to recognize it--no handles, not strong with the ball, hitch in his shot, not physical, a step slow, nervous nelly with the ball, unable to finish, and basically unaware on the court--. There are basketball and football players on the roster every year that play very little and are on scholarship. He's singled out because of his name, his hype and his rapping.

Swiperboy is a terrible rapper. Don't get me wrong I like the fact that he is a VFL and his songs say as much. But, the truth is that no one on here would give a damn one way or another if he didn't make his handful of Vols songs.
