I don't particularly like his music, but I actually didn't mind him working on it the way he did. He plays ball for a scholarship so he can get a degree and become a pro in something else. He has had a passion for music all his life, apparently, so I support his passion. I have no idea if it ever took away from his practice time, or if he just focused time that would have gone to homework on his music. Either way, I hope he keeps with the producing if that's what he wants to do after graduation. You can't get a job out of college in the field you want without currently having a job in the field you want. That was the case with my major, at least.
