Tajh Boyd

I don't think he should go public with it though. More than likely Fulmer is gone, which means another public decommitment from Boyd.

Sorry guys but I just dont see Fulmer leaving. That's good news for the recruiting class, bad news for those of us who like wins. We will see how Clawson can use a qb with that skill set because Boyd would start and unfortunately you are looking at a rocky season with a freshman qb.

Do you think Boyd will be a contender to start right away if he commits?

Not with Phil Fulmer here.

I think he could play a few downs right away, but not start, not with others with more game experience.

Fulmer has started Freshman in the past, but not when there was a Junior/Senior around with more experience.

Jim Bob Cooter never played.

What experience in not being able to hit wr's who are going against man coverage or being able to check out of a play when the defense is sending 7 guys on a blitz

ummmmmmmmmmmmmm Brent Schaffer started as a true frosh, this kid will at least getting several snaps @ QB, bye bye G-Run formation

I'd rather have a package where the QB actually throws more than a WR screen or a read play. Maybe let Jones focus more on returns and WR.
