Tajh Boyd

ESPN's Tom Luginbill caught up with Tajh's father, Tim, who said, "He just isn't overly comfortable with where the offense is going at WVU right now. We gave it half the year to see how things would progress. Tajh wants to not only be an athlete, but also a passer that can throw the ball downfield, not just throw screens."

"Tennessee and BC are the two teams on the radar right now and Steve Logan (offensive coordinator at BC) has been a big part of why Tajh has interest in the Eagles."

The bolded text was added on to this ESPN article (which was posted last night) this morning. Tajh's father makes an effort to bring up BC's strengths. Top 2 is stellar, but this is still a toss-up.

Plus, in other articles, Tajh has made a point to say he wants to see if other schools that have "filled up" will open up a spot for him. I wonder if he has any on his mind...hopefully just the Vols!

there was a time when BC wasnt in the same league with Tennessee in recruiting circles

9 pages is alot, whats the story? Isn't Clawson's offense fit for a dual threat QB?

Whats the deal guys!

if somehow, someway...we get this season turned around I think Tajh is all ours. I think a lot of prospects would be all ours if we were winning...potential top 5 class...if we wre winning.

i did little digging and jeron stokes is on tajh boyds top friends on myspace. i hope this is sign.

after thinking about it I am changing my mind. i think Stokes is truely all vol. Nunes had not been to our campus or anything and he commited. Stokes has been here multiple times and knows whats going on here. I think he will stay commited no matter what. I say Boyd will follow and be all vol too

Reading about these recruits is about the only thing has been getting me fired up this year with Tennessee football.

Same here......Until we fire Fulmer and lose some of our recruits. Then it will be the coaching search that will be exciting.

That's what I'm talking about...it should be fun. If not, the offseason will be very anti-climatic

if we keep clawson and scott, we will get boyd and heastie. They have a close relationship with scott. Boyd may come down for bama. IDK, that he was at tee martin's qb camp

Is there any truth to him having a torn ACL. Im not trying to start a rumor its just what I heard and am trying to confirm it.

Perhaps one of the biggest stories of the week came late when Hampton (Va.) Phoebus High School quarterback Tajh Boyd took back his verbal commitment from West Virginia on Sunday evening. The four-star signal caller apparently wasn’t very thrilled with how the offense has been looking in Morgantown and felt it was best to look around. There are no signs to where he will be looking to instead at this point

Looks like he wants to see what penn st. Has to offer according to rivals. He wants to see what their hd offense is all about

WE seem to have the best shot now since Nunes left us..
Boyd has to be drooling looking at our QB situation, and all the talented WR's we have he can throw too..
and the fact that he could play in the SEC..

I have yet to see this "talent"
