Tajh Boyd

i hope we could land him but 2 many questions about r staff right now to be confident in his decsion..if he likes it here and thinks he can come in and play right away i think we r his destiantion and hopefuly heastie follows

every sence he opend up his recruitment i have wanted him to come to tennessee out of any other player i dont care about heastie, dont care about brown, dont care about oku i want boyd and now it looks like we will get him. (this could be an early birthday present oct. 26 is my birthday )so lets only hope we get him

him and OKU would be huge in the next week if we got commitments from both..

then Heastie and Thomas would follow :)

so you don't want Oku, Brown, or Heastie?

I'd say that when he announces his commitment it will either:

A) Be very soon - as in the next few days.

or

B) He'll wait a while - possibly even National Signing Day

It's obvious he just finally saw something he really didn't like at WVU. The question is did he see something he REALLY liked at another school? (Hopefully Tennessee) There's always the possibility that he'll slow down, take his time, and make this a drawn-out thing. Hopefully he'll end up a Vol, though.

dont get me wrong i would love to get them, i am just saying i would rather have Boyd because we need a qb more than a WR, or RB:thumbsup:

This is great news! I was doubting it would happen, but great to hear.

He is going to take his time making a decision, he is going to take his official visits and go from there. Things are looking good now, but don't expect a sudden decision.

he said in the article that he is gonna take his visits after his senior season so prolly a january decision

usually when a recruit narrows his list to two or three teams, a decision comes sooner than later. Its the people like Terrelle Pryor, who have 5 or 6 teams on their short list, who usually a little longer to make a commitment....

QB Boyd back on the market - College Football - Rivals.com

“I only know of Boston College and Tennessee right now, but I’m curious to see what other schools show interest,” he said. “I’ve been staying in contact with the coaches at BC and Tennessee and I feel comfortable with them and the offense I’ve seen them run this year. I’m hoping to take official visits to both. I know some of the other schools who recruited me early have already filled up at quarterback and I know it’s kind of late, but I’m hoping there will be some schools out there that are still interested as well. Otherwise I’m comfortable with either BC or Tennessee right now.”
