UK MP just called Biden’s handling and statement regarding Afghan “shameful” and the majority of parliament is now saying they cannot trust us to lead on global issues.

We have damaged our NATO relationship so much.

French troops are also currently on the ground trying to get their citizens out.

This is so bad and just wait till they be head the first US citizen and NATO citizen who got trapped there.

You think it’s bad now? First be heading and this is going next level.
Hey but on the bright side we don't have to suffer through all those mean Trump tweets. It's totally worth it.

Joe's Loses His Grip On Reality: President claims 'no one is being killed' in the Kabul airport chaos despite 12 confirmed deaths and says he can't 'recall' if he was told to keep 2,500 troops in Afghanistan

Joe Biden said he can't 'recall' if he was warned to maintain a troop presence in Afghanistan and insisted 'no one is being killed' during the chaos at the Kabul airport in a series of confusing comments in his first interview on the bungled withdrawal and the Taliban's takeover.

'Your top military advisers warned against withdrawing on this timeline – they wanted you to keep about 2,500 troops,' ABC's George Stephanopoulos said to Biden in an interview that aired Thursday morning.

'No, they didn't,' the president pushed back. 'It was split. That wasn't true. That wasn't true.'

'They didn't tell you they wanted troops to stay?' Stephanopoulos asked.

'No, not in terms of whether we were going to get out in a time frame – all troops, they didn't argue against that,' Biden reiterated.

There were multiple warnings from top brass and military intelligence officials who cautioned against a total withdrawal from Afghanistan, claiming the situation was ripe for the Taliban to take over.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that Biden knew the risks of a total troop pull out and went forward with it anyway despite objections and warnings from his team.

Can't be true - I saw some tweets posted about how Biden has the world respecting America again.

US troops fire shots into the air and use teargas on desperate crowds as chaos at Kabul airport enters fifth day: Fighter jets on standby as Taliban block Westerners from reaching flights and only 2,000 are removed overnight - including just 300 Americans

  • F-18 Hornets from the USS Ronald Reagan performed overwatch flights in Kabul overnight
  • Not all have paperwork to be boarded, and they are being held back by US troops using teargas
  • Some are becoming so desperate they are handing their babies and daughters to NATO troops over the walls
US troops used teargas and fired shots into the air on Wednesday night to control the increasingly desperate crowds of Afghans at the airport, while Taliban fighters blocked Westerners from getting to evacuation planes in a fifth day of chaos in Kabul.

US Air Force fighter jets are now on standby in Kabul and are performing overwatch flights as the shambolic rush to get tens of thousands of Westerners and Afghan allies out of the region continues.

It is the latest development in an increasingly tense situation on the ground in Kabul where the Taliban, which had promised peace, appears to be tightening its grip. Its fighters on the street are stopping people from getting to the airport, where jets are waiting to fly them to safety, and there are no troops there on the ground to retrieve them because they are all at the airport defending it from a stampede of frightened natives.

Thank you for explaining why you don't support legal immigration. The point is that people on the right don't really support legal immigration.

I support limited...VERY limited immigration. Professionals like dentists where there is a shortage. Aslylum seekers who are in dire, dire straits etc...and ONLY if they are on a path to assimilate OUR CULTURE. To become Americans. Obey OUR laws. Adopt our customs. Respect our history and traditions. Thats it. No mas.

Question for my esteemed VN brothers:

As an adult, when was the last time you were ever ANYWHERE in the US going about your life and thought " I really wish there were MORE people here!" ???

In traffic? In line at any store? How about any Emergency Room where you now have to wait for hours? Serious question. ***

*** that lame arse birthday party at your buddies house doesnt count. He should have gotten a keg and paid for strippers. It would have been standing room only.

Why should Americans be painted as selfish or mean because we dont want population density like India, China, or for most here even like NYC or LA? The cities i have spent most of my life in...Knoxville, Charlotte, Atlanta east and Denver, San Antonio, Salt lake City out west...were ALL much better 20 and 30 years ago when they had half the population they do now. Less congestion, less crime, less Dimwits, less traffic, less urban sprawl and big box stores.

Why should we be in a hurry to overpopulate this country? Just because Democrats want to get em all in cities and win every election in the future?

No thanks. No apologies either.

EXCLUSIVE: 'A Little Girl is Dead because the world turned away from us': The Afghan girl, 14, who was Trampled To Death in Stampede at Kabul airport as she tried to reach evacuation flight

The family of a 14-year-old girl killed in a stampede at Kabul Airport have released this shocking photograph of her shrouded body to draw attention to the plight of the Afghans desperate to leave the country.

High school student Marzia Rahmati dreamt of a new life outside Afghanistan with her parents and younger siblings and the family had secured visas to travel to nearby Tajikistan, where they had relatives.

Marzia is believed to be one of the youngest of the 12 victims who have died in the disorder at Kabul Airport since the Taliban took over.

But when the crowd panicked at the sound of gunfire on Monday, just hours after the Taliban seized Kabul, Marzia became separated from her parents and fell to the ground, suffering multiple internal injuries as she was trampled to death.

I don't know who they would have waiting in the wings...

I agree with both you and Hogg but this has long long lasting effects and the need off this fast and completely. Think he gets pulled and Harris comes in lame duck.

I just don’t see how he stays. This is the biggest F up I have seen in my 45 years. This makes weapons of mass destruction hoax look like a blip.
