During Biden’s remarks he said that he no intelligence that Americans were having problems getting to the airport through the checkpoints. When they went to the field reporter in Kabul, Muir asked what he thought about the POTUS remakes and he called it “breathtaking” how the “reality and the rhetoric were miles apart” . Telling a story about how Americans showing their passports at a checkpoint were a beaten with a fan belt from a car. He was clearly disturbed by what he had just heard.

If that is really happening, it's the height of incompetence by Biden not to have U.S. forces entering the city.

I'm sorry, but if he can't remember a name, how in the hell can he form a coherent answer to a question. A seating chart is pretty simple to put on the pulpit with faces, names and affiliations.

My question would be, why are people from the entire country supposed to make their way to one airport in the country. It's akin to asking people from California to make their way to a NY airport and the US will help you out.

Ikr? I imagine it would extremely difficult for someone to not get spotted by the Taliban traveling over that long a distance.

Point made on radio today is that if a different POTUS now the uniforms would have switched. Fox and GOP would have been saying at least Trump had the courage to follow through and get us out of Afghanistan, with MSNBC criticizing Trump for bungling it so badly.

No doubt true.

I will never, never understand why all American civilians and officials were not pulled out of the country before the troops left. Hope for the best. prepare for the worst, you pull all of those people out and if the country remains stable, you can return them, but you don't leave them entirely unprotected, which is what we did.

Oh I’d guess if he knew a couple of those questions were gonna be asked he’d never have called on them. The love affair is at least off for the short term. And long overdue.

I couldn’t hear all of it as my company had the audacity to expect me to work but what I heard wasn’t very reassuring. And the questions weren’t all softballs.
