I think you're giving Biden too much credit. The guy's incapable of any degree of rational thought. His brain is a literal pile of mush. He's being propped up by some unknown entity. The poor guy should be enjoying watching Golden Girls reruns in a rocking chair with a shaw across his knees. The question is how long will the American public believe this charade? I literally have a picture of Americans at the embassy yesterday grilling food and relaxing.

So, I don’t know. I’m going by a literal first hand account of somebody that couldn’t care less about the politics. He just said bro the Taliban wants us to leave and we are not doing it fast enough. For Americans they are not stopping anybody and are trying to get us out as quick as possible.

I haven’t seen any reports, despite the dramatics of the press reports, of any US citizens being kidnapped or killed. So his report, in addition to me knowing him for years and I trust him, makes sense at this point.

Don’t get me wrong nobody is leaving embassy grounds to go tooling around Kabul right now, but it seems like the withdrawal is being allowed to happen.

Sure you do I bet it was also taken “yesterday”. There is zero chance the Taliban would ever defy the hardliner that is Joe Biden. I mean he is liable to make a speech or send Kamala Harris to a summit. There is also zero chance the Taliban wouldn’t use this opportunity to further humiliate the US. The American people don't have any choice at this point. It would be nice if conservatives had options for alternative leader and the democrats could have both he and Kamala to themselves but it doesn't work that way. If Biden can't make it then the current alternative is more of a trainwreck.
