Didn't someone say during the election season Europeans really wanted Biden because Trump was so caustic?

Nato allies urge rethink on alliance after Biden’s ‘unilateral’ Afghanistan exit

European allies had hoped Joe Biden’s election to the US presidency would bolster Nato’s relevance after Donald Trump’s acrimonious years. Washington’s messy withdrawal from Afghanistan is prompting a rethink.

After the fall of Kabul, EU defence and security officials have been critical of the US decision to send home its 2,500 troops, saying it has weakened Nato and raised questions about Europe’s security dependence on Washington.

Hey, you wanted him, you get to deal with him.

Europe's security dependence on Washington....

That's the problem. It's not our military's job to secure Europe. Build your own damn militaries. Secure your own damn countries. What use are "allies" if they depend on us for everything?

Military planes evacuating Afghans drop flares and make 'diving combat landings' amid fears of ISIS missile attacks as TWENTY die including girl, two, at Kabul airport in stampede to escape Taliban before US lifeline ends

  • The situation has taken a turn for the worse, with four Afghan women crushed to death on Saturday
Military planes making evacuation runs into Kabul are dropping flares and carrying out nosedive combat landings amid fears that Islamic terrorists may try to shoot one down as Afghans trying to flee the Taliban have described at least 20 civilians being killed in the chaos.

US military planes are doing rapid diving combat landings to beat the threat of a missile attack, with video showing a French transport plane yesterday deploying flares designed to confuse heat-seeking technology which may have been stolen by Islamic State in Afghanistan.

Oh right, we're back to caring if other countries approve of the US conduct again.
No I don’t really care if they like us or not but I’d really like it if our own leader wasn’t a damn idiot clown and makes us look like clowns too.

I don’t care if they like us or hate us. That isn’t equivalent to looking like a bunch of dumbasses.

Joe Biden's aides were 'too afraid' to quiz him and his national security adviser Jake Sullivan over key decisions made in run-up to US withdrawal from Afghanistan

  • Biden's aides were 'too afraid' to quiz him over decisions made in run-up to US withdrawal from Afghanistan
  • Ex-official claimed the Biden administration functions 'like an autocracy' and stifles internal dissent
Joe Biden's aides were 'too afraid' to quiz him and his National Security Adviser over key decisions made in the run-up to the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, according to sources close to the US administration.

The President is accused of insisting on recalling US troops ahead of the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on New York and Washington DC, and allegedly ignored warnings that it would not leave the military enough time to get American nationals and allies out.

The Sunday Telegraph reports that Biden administration officials urged the President - unsuccessfully - to keep open Bagram Air Base, which has more runways than Kabul airport and has been the heart of US operations in Afghanistan during the 20-year intervention.

Too afraid to quiz a FAKE president who doesn't know what day it is? If they're too afraid of asking "the king of all bone heads" some questions ... then they need to get the F out & put someone in there to do the job.
