Not really. We haven't shown competency in a while. We're rapidly losing our reputation as a world military superpower. We have a technology advantage but that's about it.
Yes really. None of our "allies" have near the military strength that we do.

As far as Russia or China getting "emboldened", Russia already did that with Crimea and we did basically nothing. China could potentially do that with Taiwan, and it wouldn't surprise me if we did nothing again, but I don't think it matters who the POTUS is. If China wants Taiwan, they will take it, and then we'll have to decide if it's worth WWIII.
And its not worth it.

So you disagree with Trump's decision?
How long are you going to blame Trump? It's your boys show now. You need to acknowledge the cluster f$%k that it is. Are you going down with the ship like a good little sheep?

Sounds like our allies are thinking Trump wasn't so bad now. Maybe you'll catch on soon. 🤣

I really don't care what other countries think of us, but are you saying you've flipped from caring under Trump to not caring under Biden? I'm just curious if you're accusing people of hypocrisy while practicing hypocrisy?
No, I'm not saying that.

The "China/Russia are loving this" people are apparently missing why they are loving it.

Even if Biden had executed the smoothest withdrawal imaginable, the other powers in Asia would still be loving our exit.

So you think we should have stayed in Afghanistan?

No.

But I'm also realistic about how it happened.
How it happened is he authorized a horrible plan on how to do it. It has nothing to do with Trump. If he opposed withdrawing troops, he could have kept them there. How many other things that Trump did did he undo? Biden chose to move forward, then initiated a horrible plan on how to do it.

I'm flabbergasted by the equipment we left the Afghanis. If I was a high ranking military general, I would make sure that we have a "poison pill" piece of code in every aircraft and vehicle we left them that will make it inoperable if we so choose.
The soldier is still our strength. Our weakness is at the top. They're more concerned with being woke.

Trump isn't the one who just left them high and dry.

The issue was above was simply the pull out bit of course every time it is pointed out that Trump made that decision the GOPers high tail it back to the execution of it issue. Where it's safe because they can always hypothesize that Trump would have done it differently, which is absurd as he had the same bad advice Biden got.

You're spouting BS. You know you're spouting BS. If Biden had wanted, he could have kept troops on the ground. He chose not to. Whatever happened to "The buck stops here"? I'm not a GOPer or a Dem. I'm someone who realises this cluster**** falls on the CiC, and right now, that's Joe Biden. I don't play those shell games of try to blame someone else for this President's screw ups.

Just stop trolling and STFU about how any of this is Trump's fault. This 100% lies on the shoulders of your dementia riddled president.

Pentagon is activating the Civil Reserve Air Fleet to provide commercial airliners and crews to aid with the evacuation of Kabul.

I'm not blaming Trump, but the theory he'd have done it differently is patently absurd.

Not really. I'm sure a few different strategies were suggested. We have no idea what led Biden to pick the horrible one he did, and we have no idea what strategy Trump might have picked. But none of that really matters because it's not Trump's ass sitting in the Oval Office. It's Joe Biden's. And you're absolutely trying to deflect some blame to Trump.
