The Pride over Kabul. Unreal.

Completely obtuse to the fact that we were still guests in a Muslim country. So the Biden admin chose to be intentionally offensive to, even thumbing their noses at, the ones we were trying to protect. Ever get the sense these people can’t read a room?

We should have had one goal and left once that was accomplished. Beyond that there was no good reason for 2 decades of occupation
Depending on what you think our goal was and when you think our objective was completed I agree. If the objective was UBL, then it took nearly a decade. The biggest issue I have with the withdrawal is that our intelligence network is going to take a massive hit. Regardless of whether we should’ve been there or not, we are/were there and we owed it to everyone involved to do this in a different manner than we have.

No, we had him early on but messed it up. Then we decided to nation build and ended up staying for 2 decades. We also opened multiple other fronts during that time.

This is like a bad relationship and you're advising us to stay in because we've been together for a while. It's time to cut our losses, which are in the trillions, and move away from the desert.

Overwhelming majority of Americans wanted an end to this endless war. He gave us what we wanted, same thing Trump promised btw. If Biden hadn't withdrawn, you'd be on here whining about that.

How about placing the blame for the Afghans situation where it belongs, on the Afghan government and soldiers who were trained and equipped to keep this from happening, but instead folded immediately.

It’s the incompetence that people are criticizing him over not the withdrawal.

Should have had most all civilians and hardware out prior to the troops leaving.

He also left in the middle of the fighting season. Napoleon will have a better name in the lores of history.

Any way we cut it, it's considered a worldwide mess.

The strategy for withdrawal is what most are complaining about, putting U.S. embassy officials in danger of being captured or killed. It's the fall of Saigon all over in some regards. Our intelligence community and our military leaders all screwed up, but it all falls on Biden as CiC for not making sure everyone was safely withdrawn.

Afghanistan is the Taliban. The people obviously believe in their ideology and have all along. This is why the "resistant" is so pathetic. The country is nothing but a **** stain on the pants of the human race and its annihilation would benefit mankind.

SIAP ------> 'That's It, It's Over': Afghan President Flees Country

"Ghani's decision to flee the country was followed by reports that the Taliban will move deeper into Kabul as fighters capture the Afghan capital, completing a mission that US intel predicted as recently as this week would take at least one month".

To quote Obama: “ Never underestimate Joe’s ability to F*** things up.”

Since his elected position there's been a lot of that going on in the ranks of the dumb.
But, they don't really care .... just as long as they (Dems) have the power & control of dictating everything pertaining to your life. They love to lord it over you every minute of each day.

Because the ineptitude of this whole event is at a level which no common sense could have allowed at any human level, I have a feeling the far leftists will use this episode to rid themselves of this useless idiot. 25th amendment likely being tuned up.

We did have him in December 2001 in Tora Bora. For some unknown reason, and probably something we should’ve taken into consideration these past months, we let the Northern Alliance have a crack at him and he shockingly he disappeared for 10 years. Everyone in that part of the world has shown time and time again that they fold when the times get tough against a better foe, 20 years later and it is no different. They are not good leaders or good fighters, they rule out of fear and chaos and that’s why this is so tough to watch.
It’s not that I want to stay in a bad relationship, it’s just that it’s a relationship that’s been going on long before anyone even knew it was going on and now we haven’t figured out the best way to split assets and we’re giving everything to one side, and they’re gonna burn down the house and send the kids to the worst place imaginable.
