We were pulling our troops no matter who was President. Biden screwed up the exfil, royally, but our troops were coming home. Trump negotiated the original deal. Chances are high that the Taliban was retaking control no matter what. The only thing that could have prevented it was maintaining a military presence, and most of us don't want to keep sending soldiers over there to get killed. When the mission became one of nation building, it was always going to fail.

20 years later the Biden Administration caused a scene in Afghanistan where people we jumping from an airplane to their death.
