This just in on the SEC network: Booger has no idea what's going on with UT and thinks Dobbs should have been named starter, and McElroy actually made sense and predicted us to go bowling.

That segment didn't look scripted either. 😎

Florida went 16-3 from the bowl game that ended the 2011 season through the fifth game of last season. Wins included Ohio St., @Texas A&M, LSU, South Carolina and @ Florida State. From there they close last season 0-7. Will be interesting to see if they can reverse course.
The offense will be much better. People are making too much of having to adapt to a new system. The players they have are much better suited to the new system than what they have been attempting to do the last 3 seasons.

What were you doing on their chat room? Florida may not finish 2nd in the East but you better believe they'll be back. Unfortunately their schedule is as hard as ours...

Don't see how experts say we won't make a bowl due to schedule yet don't have a problem giving the Gators a good record?

What, have you read the posts or just posting at the end? Most experts I've seen have us at 6-6. They have fla at 7-5. As for what was I doing on their site, their are a lot of posts on here from gator fans. I was just returning the favor. It's good to know your enemy.

Key with the Gators is the offense and more specifically Roper. Can he prove to be as effective a play-caller without Coach Cut? Can the players take to his system? The main reason Cutcliffe has field such successful offenses was his ability to have them ultra-prepared and his in-game play-calling rhythm.

I'm sure many of you remember the drop off in offense both times that Cut left. Randy Sanders was so freaking predictable as a play-caller and nearly lost Fulmer his job. Clawson was a disaster and did lose Fulmer his job. UF will be dangerous if the offense starts rolling. Hears to hoping that it was once again Cutcliffe's thoroughly excellent preparation and game-planning that was the key to that Duke O, and that this Gator O tanks and stinks out loud.

Also, a lot of people are pointing to the 48 points against A&M, but let's not forget just how bad that A&M defense was.

I visit both and as I stated I think 8 is the #. There are guys that are so called experts and get paid that have FL winning 10... Not so crazy when you read a bunch of TN fans having UT winning 8 and I haven't seen an expert predict that...

Didn't the experts have the gators winning the east or contending for the east last year ? Those experts sure knew what they were talking about huh. 4-8

I think the East is wide open, idk why in the world Florida thinks that they will all of the sudden turn it around. Roper might be a good OC but he's not a miracle worker. Talk about Vol fans being delirious, c'mon.

Many experts have us at 5-7. Their sole reason at times is "schedule too hard". Yet UF is picked to win 8 according to USA Today and Athlon has them ranked 23. CBS exxperts have no problem havinng them finish 3rd. Idk if I've seen anywhere that has UT at 7 wins. I have but it was just like 1 place. UFhas just a tough a schedule.

The experts can't predict injuries and think we all agree that injuries had a big influence on FL season last year.

I think Florida's season last year was just a hiccup in the grand scheme of things. They were much more talented than their record indicated. I'm hoping I'm wrong and their losing ways continue

They will win the east and a petition will be started to bring him to tn.. He goes from being hated to genius..

But VN will say its the talent n not the coach..while VN will say at tn we have a great coach but needs talent

Lol

Objective question here, but do you know if they are going to change the offensive scheme? New OC and all and will the current players fit that scheme?

The QB does he's a spread QB, and that's what they will run. Muschamp tried to put him under center for years to run a ball control offense based of a power running game with drop back and play action passing. That's not him, and he will be much improved operating exclusively from the spread. Their biggest concern on offense is their RB's and WR's are either unproven or average for the SEC. Roper will have his hands full but having an above QB is a good place to start.

UF has more talent on their roster than any team in the East followed by Georgia, SC and UT. Georgia and SC have the best chance to win the East. UT and UF are dark horses as is Mizzou even though they have far less talent on their roster than the other four teams. Kentucky and Vandy have no chance to win it.

I LOL'd because there is a level of truth here. This fan base loves to make excuses for or against a topic, depending on how it benefits UT.

Loaded at RB but the WRs have to prove they can play.

None of the RB's at UF would see the field if they played at UT. Taylor is the best UF has and he lacks the size and speed of Hurd.

You are kidding... Broke Emmits Smiths records in H.S. in FL and rushed for over 500 yards on limited carriers for a 4.6 yards a carry his freshman season. This was behind a patch work line. He has great vision and cutting ability.

Hurd hasn't played in a college game so we really don't know what he will do against SEC "D".

Taylor, Jones, and maybe even Mack would get touches at UT.

Matt Jones is bigger and just as fast as Hurd....

Sounds like some crazy **** to me. I bet your one of those gators that predicts 10-2 or better, lol. In fact you could have been one of the many that said 14-1 with a playoff birth from the sounds of your post.
