Talked to Bray just now. Said he's declaring.

Do you remember saying this---
"Kirby Smart most likely will replace Dooley (according to what I've heard)
Yeah, it's one of those things where I heard from somebody who is close to the program. Hart really wants to make Kirby Smart the HC.

That's all I've got. I hope not, but that's what I was told." - Sheezy

or this

"Gruden on plane that is set to land in Knoxville in 20 mins After visiting with the Oakland, Raiders today in California. JG has decided to visit with Hart one more time.

FlightAware

GBO!!!!!" -Sheezy

Or This...

gruden is still our guy from a source close to the situation. - Sheezy

I THINK YOU'RE FULL OF Sheezy, Sheezy...

But I hope Bray does declare. The kid couldn't run his way out of a wet paper bag.

Coach Jones said today that Nathan Peterman is somebody he really likes and Nathan's final two schools were Cinnci and Tennessee. I'd like to see what a mobile QB could do here with that offense.

We all know that Hunter is gone, duh, and CP for that matter. Late first or early second is too much money for those guys to pass up. Bray's going in the 3rd at the least.

VOLS, Butch!

Thanks for reminding us of this individuals past posts. I thought that name was familiar

Some advice:

1) delete this troll thread

2) dont try to answer any of OP's 'point's', just laugh at him.

3) Youre being trolled, if you can't see that, you're an idiot.

I am thinking if we get Tee - that has got to be worth a lot to Bray in staying. T is someone who could help him with the tools and maturity to get ready for the big time.

In a way, having them all leave would signify a new start for Tennessee. Sure it'd be nice to have them back, but all is not lost when they leave.

True - but with them here, major focus could be put on getting some D - with a year longer to recruit under a (hopefully) Marquis name that UT would be. With Jones and T - keeping the good part of our O could have UT with a 9+ win season.

Agreed. TN offense will not be recruiting players like Bray. We will be looking for multi-dimensional QB's and he does not fit that mold. I'm for Bray moving on and Peterman winning the job in the spring. If Hunter and/or Patterson stay, great, but this is a serious change that the Vols are getting ready to go through. If Bray stays it will only delay it. Good luck to him but I am all about the Big Orange.

OP just claimed Palardy is declaring for the NFL draft

wouldn't be surprised at all if he made an NFL roster as a punter. Say what you want about his place kicking, but how many college teams are lucky enough to have a kid constantly putting out 50 yard punts with great direction control?

In the presser CBJ said that a good coach molds his scheme around the talent he has...if Bray stays CBJ will adjust the scheme slightly to fit the talent, but I seriously doubt it will delay the scheme from being implemented. Infact it would make for a good transitional year...much like how Meyer at Florida transitioned the offense with Leak to Tebow...

Transition will happen regardless if Bray stays or not...it takes a couple years to recruit the right players to fit the scheme...until then its all transition...I would hardly call it a delay one way or another.

One facet that might Bray find difficult to embrace is that while watching some film of Cincy's offense, I noticed that the qb actually threw a bunch of good blocks for the ball carriers.

Palardy is a damn good punter. Hopefully next year Bullock can come back healthy and releave palardy of his kicking duties

I wouldn't be too suprised if Bray came back. Or CP or Hunter. CP really seems to come off as VFL.

CP was a great player with the ball in his hands, no doubt. Behind the scenes, he was a quitter!!! Watch the game films, on interceptions he stood there and didn't try to do anything, or on low throws ot to even prevent interceptions. Bray, great passer!!! Still immature and I believe we have better quartebacks in waiting. One hit and he is rattled the rest of the game. (Late 3rd early 4th round) Justin Hunter, out of the three, this guy is the real deal and will go high 1st. Can't blame him for going, he has a family to provide for. Hope he doesn't hurt that knee again and need his education!!

The sooner we eliminate the cancer of Tyler Brat on this team, the better. I predict a short NFL stint.

CP I wish would stick around because he really needs another year and could be really good once he knows where to go and what to do other than just run.

Hunter coming off the knee needs another year because his alligator arms and collapsing on the field when a tackler came by was not a good thing. I fear Hunter will get hurt quickly in the NFL.

CP is for sure gone people wanna say he won't be high in the draft b/c he can't run routes, that will have little to do with where he is drafted. he's a freak athlete and one of the best playmakers I've ever seen, he'll go top 20 IMO. As for Tyler, yes he is immature, folds under pressure, and many other things, but he has a world class arm and NFL scouts will say they can fix the other issues. Hunter will impress many at the combine and also be drafted high. Not saying I think they all should declare, but they'll go high in the draft if they do. CP=gone

I wish them the best and have enjoyed the effort they gave at UT, good luck to them. More concerning to me however, is wheather or not we lose any big guys on the OL, which was aluded to yesterday in a similar thread.

Tyler Bray = Ryan Leaf (w/ less talent). You know what I mean.
