Tana Patrick

but apparently something has happened last night or this morning...come on...keep up. This is D1 football recruiting right before NSD.

From Brent Hubbs...

To visit or to not visit

"There were reports Tuesday morning that Alabama linebacker Tana Patrick was going to visit Tennessee on January 30th. However, Patrick’s coach said his player is still scheduled to visit Miami the last weekend of the month so we will continue to check on it because clearly Patrick and his coach don't appear to be on the same page."

i think that will be very telling. If he goes to miami, i think he is a bama lock and is just using that visit to go see miami. If he uses it for ut, i think he is open with it and can be talked out of bama and into ut real quick.

I just hope for the player's sake that it's not a situation where the coach is pushing him toward one school.

From what I've heard his coach is big on Miami...but Patrick isn't.

Its a 3 team race...Bama,USC, and UT.

I really hope we can get him on campus the 30th...because I think with the addition of Thompson, Monte and Orgeron will sell the program well.

This is a little off point, but in this part of the state, it's pretty much a mystery why their coach even has that job in the first place. His only other head coaching experience previously was at a smaller school, which was then and always has been, a bad program. From there, he somehow parlayed that into the HC job at North Jackson, which is one of the better programs in all of North Alabama, as well as the Chattanooga/Tri-state area.

Maybe he's a good recruiter (Kenny Smith).

There's not a single team in the Tri-State area, save for MAYBE Ooltewah that could have beaten them in the last five years.

You can at least for now officially add linebacker Tana Patrick to the visit list for January 30th. Patrick said via text Wednesday night that right now his plan is to visit Tennessee the last weekend. That weekend could potentially have a dozen or so visitors and would be considered a very high profile list of visitors.

looks like its solid now
