I'm referencing other stories Tony has recently broken regarding the basketball program. I find it hard to believe that he got this one exactly right, but from the same source, completely whiffed on the NIL struggles.

I wish the student section was on the sidelines, if I’m not mistaken that’s how Duke has theirs, right? Having students surround the whole floor would be insane to deal with for opposing teams.

Anyways, when I was at UT there were a lot of students at the time that wished we did it that way. Being behind the goal was meh, but I never complained too much seeing as we got tickets for free lol

Agree but those seats in that type NBA style arena are worth so much $$$$ UT won't do it. Seats are too valuable there. Duke arena is a dump.

Just a couple of years ago Basilio was giving a daily update on how many days it had been since Barnes had signed a four star.

His schtick is jumping on the band wagon and stirring up discontent when there are set backs. Nothing wrong with running his entertainment business that way, but he’s not “All Vol”.

He gave a platform to negative voices like Phil Perry and his brother ZR and BrockyTop to spew their hate when Fulmer (Coach-O Ocho) wasn’t meeting Basilio’s unrealistic expectations. That clown ZR still calls in to Russell W recycling his Oinking garbage and Fat Filmer Crap. “Toneeee, when are we going to beat Florida?”. “Dumbest fan base in America”. “Sheep”. They are clowns. I’d certainly never label any of them as All Vol.

I mean i know Tony.. He really does love this community and UT. I also can see why people disagree. To each his own, but talking to him as many times as i have, he definitely is all Vol.
