Exactly that last sentence. He will play, but if motivating him to play better later in the season (when you actually need him) I don't see the problem with it. It matters less who starts and matters more who finishes.
His post move late looked pretty solid to me, need to see it more but it looked smooth.I thought ON did a nice job rebounding and the three point stroke looked good but he still has no post game to speak of and still looks lost on defense. BHH is better and should play more. Then when Fulk comes back I’d have ON off the bench for 15-20 mpg.
Well one of you 2 is a HOF coach making $6m, I doubt he’s doing what he feels is stupid…a huge part of this program is culture and just handing over a starting spot because a kid is more talented while potentially not having the work ethic/commitment/attitude of the guy he’s replacing is a pretty dangerous move to make.Which is stupid. It was stupid last year. Play your best players. Who cares what class they are

I would absolutely play my most talented guys to give them experience early. Last year with Johnson and Springer not starting the early games, i was a little nervous. Then Barnes inserted them pretty quickly into the starting lineup. I assume BHH will be in there by the end of November.Which is stupid. It was stupid last year. Play your best players. You'd think our go to lineup when it counts would be:I would absolutely play my most talented guys to give them experience early. Potentially. We don’t know this that BHH has any problems. We are just assuming because we all know it doesn’t sense why BHH is not starting over Uros or ON.
He did the same thing with Johnson and Springer and it was stupid then. And we know those guys didn’t have problems with work ethic.
It's just been one game and I love Vescovi, but I'm starting to agree with you. Powell can be a lot like Tyler Herro, imo. Probably, not as athletic, but about the same size, both can rebound and pass, kinda think Powell's 3 ball, may be a little better. BTO is going to get on me for making unreasonable expectations for Powell, but I don't careI actually like Powell over Vescovi, but most don’t agree. I do think Vescovi is a terrific 6th man.
I don’t think it’s totally bonkers…not sure Powell is gonna get the volume opportunity Herro did but I think there’s obviously some NBA folks who view him as similarly intriguing as he’s shown up on a few 1st round mocks. It's just been one game and I love Vescovi, but I'm starting to agree with you. The Herro comparison is pretty obvious to me. The thing that also stands out to me is the great first step Powell has. That half court pass from Chandler to Powell in the corner and then Powell’s move to the basket and score showed some terrific athleticism to me.It's just been one game and I love Vescovi, but I'm starting to agree with you. Oh ok, thought it hit $6m, could be wrong.
