Expect he will be our best offensive player because he is versatile, skilled and can create his own shot, either in half court set or on the break. 3 pt range, midrange, length in the paint, athletic with ability to drive and finish going left or right, maybe even some back to the basket with smaller guys covering him. I think he can do it all offensively. I think the reason he came to UT is because he knew in order to make it into the NBA he needed to learn how to defend and who better than Barnes to teach him how to do that. I just hope we play alot more up tempo this year because we have the bodies/depth to do it.

I agree. I know there is a logjam of good players at his position, but I think he is by far the best athlete and is a pretty good shooter, right now. If he plays the kind of defense that Barnes wants with his athleticism, it's going to be very hard to keep him off the floor, imo. Worst case scenario, he brings the roof off TBA about once a game with some kind of dunk, 3-pointer, block, steal that leads to an easy lay-up/dunk.

I know that he wasn't doing nearly as many reps as everyone else, but it looked like ZZ was going close to full speed during this drill. That seems to be a really good sign.

The Dog has hyped Aidoo for years. Even before he walked on campus if memory serves. I hope he is right but would settle for him just showing some improvement on the offensive end this year. His defense is excellent.

Nothing wrong with hyping any of the good guys. Davonte had potential but was playing a position with a lot of competing talent and experience.
