It’s their search engine, you dolt. They have control (or can at least program their filters, regardless of “hits” <— there’s your programming piece) over what is at the top of their search filter.

So, what you’re saying is, males are born, out-of-the-box, programmed to believe they are fully functional and capable of conceiving and birthing a child?

It’s amazing how you think large companies, the media and politicians don’t intentionally mislead their consumers/constituents for their own selfish endeavors. You’re one naive child.

What’s insanity is watching you attempt to explain trivial economic policy.

What on earth does Google have to gain by making you think you can have a baby?

It's not some master plan to change society. It's just click bait. That's all it is. They auto-fill in with information that is most likely to get the click. What were you trying to search with "men can...."? I bet it's less likely to get the click than "men can have babies", a shocking statement that piques curiosity.

They're also trying to reprogram you to believe that science is fake news and that gender and ovaries are social constructs. You're smart enough to know they're full of sh!t, but that doesn't change the fact that they're trying to convince you and everyone else.

Who is doing this? Google? How are they doing this? Why are they doing this?

If you can't see the Gate keeping and cronyism at play in Silicon Valley, I don't know what else to tell ya. Whether these companies collude or not, it turns out that they all have the same world view and they all seem to work as one with the same agendas. And being anti Trump is only one of many such agendas.

There is cronyism in every industry, so of course there is in tech. That doesn't mean I should buy every hare-brained conspiracy theory, or look to the government for solutions.

Correct, their algorithms are fully programmable.

Thing is, these predictive searches are often based upon what the most common searches are. I'd tend to blame kids for those searches. I have noticed that, in the last few years, Google has made an attempt to remove predictive searches when a person's name is invoked. Also, Google isn't always the mechanism at work when predictive text is being employed.

I think it all boils down to the fact that Google, Twitter, and Youtube are all ran by left-wing ideologues who dream of what I mentioned earlier: A Chinese-style censorship technocracy. They believe their worldview is the only correct worldview and that it must be enforced on anyone who uses their products.

These people are radicals.

I think the simple solution would be for the general populace to wake the f up and quit using these sites.

Who : See link in OP
How : See link in OP
Why : True believers in social utopia can be willing to do a lot of nefarious things to justify the desired ends.

OP is about Google opposing Trump. You went from something completely plausible to totally ridiculous. How does reprogramming me bring about their social utopia? What is their social utopia?

If we're not going to stop America's wealthiest corporations and individuals from owning our government why should we stop a few tech companies from prioritizing some content on the internet?

I would think the folks googling for that information are unable to use the computer.

Computer manufacturers are trying to help Google reprogram society, else they’d have created computers that required you to demonstrate the capacity for logic and reasoning to turn them on.

This is exactly what i was going to ask, lol. What does google have to gain by attempting to brainwash people (...through recommended searches...) that men can have babies. What is the conspiracy here.

Use Bing. Google only has market power because you use them, not because they are the only choice.

Trump is trash and I'm totally fine with private businesses opposing trash politicians. This is America.
What do you suggest over YouTube?

You do realize Google is much much bigger than just the search engine, don’t you?

Until there is viable competition, these companies have much more power to influence American elections than foreign countries ever did.

It’s censorship combined with mind control (search suggestions) to try to achieve their desired outcome.

Infuriating.

YouTube has no real competition.
Twitter has no real competition.
Facebook has no real competition.

Suggesting someone use BING instead of Google is ignoring the larger problem.

These are communication platforms, not just “private companies”.

Who knew so much money was to be made in societal reprogramming?

Wish I had thought of that.

How much time, effort, and $ would it take to launch this nefarious plan? Just think about how much they would need to pour into researching the efficacy of it.

When an alternative is needed by enough people some capitalist out there will meet the demand. Personally, I think a search engine which used unfettered Al Gore rhythms and did not share your info would sell like hot cakes....if it worked.

These are private companies which provide communication platforms. All communication companies editorialize.

Indoctrinate minds as early as they can.
