Tee Martin for QB coach.

Will always respect Tee but no thanks he didn't want to be part of the rise so no thanks.

He's still a VFL. If he comes to us, I'd consider it.

Number 17 took us to the promised land he is definitely a VFL...waited his turn and won it all!

It don't get any better than that. :good!:

He took the job at USC because of family issues.

Which means he did the right thing.

GBO VFL17

Don't want him after he publicly put a show on for espn to publicly turn us down for the biggest villain the University of Tennessee has ever known!!! The man that set back our program 10 yrs!! Choose him over us. It would have been one thing to tell us in private he was happy with where he was. To do it the way he did it in my eyes he will never be a Vol again!! He is a hound for the spot light. He will never be anything special as a offensive coordinator if he were to ever get a shot at it. He hasn't done anything special as a wr coach. He has had the luxury of coaching some great talent. Let him get some mediocre talent and lets see what he can do with it. I don't care where he goes just as long as its not here.

Didn't we visit this topic already...and didn't Tee already give us his answer...oh wait, I just woke up...what hapened...Kiffin fired???...Orgeron mad???...Butch doesn't have a position available...

PLEASE folks, move along, nothing here to see...

Why in the hell would he want anything to do with mediocre talent?

Shows he can coach....nothing meant ill about that statement. Tee apologizists are easily offended. When all you have is studs it doesn't show what you are truly capable of. He didn't even have to recruit his talent. The USC stud was there and Cobb was already the man when he got to Ky!

If you don't want to be at Tennessee then I don't want you at Tennessee. Best of luck to him, but he gave his answer this year. JMO FWIW

Yep and needs to drop the "Tee" part from his name, it's disrespectful! JMO
Good luck to you but that's what happens when you sell your soul to the devil Kiffin! :devilsmoke:

:shaking2:

Tennesseeduke

We seem to have no problem accepting athletic directors who went to school and worked against us while in our bitter rivals employment.

If you haven't caught on or read already the NCAA only allows a certain number of coaches so you would have to remove someone already here before to you bring in another coach.

Well guess what....the NCAA is gay :whistling:

Tee already had his chance to come back home, he can find a new home now. In the words of Inky Johnson, "Tennessee takes the backseat to nobody!"

I see a lot of butthurt in this thread.

Very true. Seems VFL just doesn't seem to mean the same thing anymore. We need to quit using that slogan. It should be VFAW. VOL FOR A WHILE. A guy takes us to the only NC in most of our lifetimes and he's crap now for taking a job elsewhere.

You guys who are mad at Tee for taking the USC job need to think back on what yer momma an poppa tried to teach you about maturity and being a real man.

Frickin amazing how utterly childish you sound.

"He didn't come to my sleepover an I hate him!"

Sheesh! Grow up ... find some (reality-strikethrough) sportsmanship, yer an embarrassment to VOL fans everywhere.

It's honestly a wonder that we have a Top 5 recruiting class with legacy players throughout, the way our fanbase treats former players when they don't stay tied to the hip with the university/state for the rest of their lives. How come we don't harass fans that move out of state to take another job for their families and can't financially support the program anymore by physically attending games?

The facts of the matter are:
1.) We don't have a coaching position available.
2.) On his own merits, he hasn't exactly separated himself as a truly viable candidate for a coordinator job here or anywhere else.
3.) We look like absolute morons when we bash Tee for not taking a lateral position coach job with his alma mater.
