Can't really hate the man after all wasn't it said that Dooley wouldn't allow former VOLS on campus. Or something to that degree?

You have to understand, it's been half a decade since we've won anything. We bashed Phil for not winning enough at the end, bashed Kiffin who despite winning nothing at any level goes from good job to good job.

Dooley is a perfect example. Got the UT job even though he had no track record and now, after the worst run in Tennessee history that guy gets a job with what used to be America's team. To top it off, he could afford to pay the Cowboys more than he's gonna make thanks to yet another buyout, and you can't spell buyout without a U-T.

Picking on a guy who held the NCAA record for consecutive pass completions until 2011 and won a national championship with a lot of players the previous QB had, and who did not win a NCG, well... just makes total sense.

Ehvabody hate us so we hate ehvabody. We're a confused bunch.

It's kind of a hoot, after the one and done Kiffin pulled on us, people expect Tee to do the same to them.

Haven't seen it mentioned, but you know Tee is familiar with one type of system, he played QB under that system, he coached under Randy Sanders, in the same system and Kiffin's system is really similiar. Coach Jones system is completely different, and in addition he's basically had the same guys teaching for quite a while. Maybe it wasn't a perfect match.

Maybe it was the money. Maybe he's just moved his family all the way across the country.

He's a Vol and he's got a good job, a family, which is what we as fans should want.

It does more than you know- from Chatta, but moved to Mobile for work when we were still winning/holding our own, but then had to come up to Huntsville an its been really hard. Still have my T on the car but got keyed in airport Parking lot recently and they keyed through my sticker too-- I'm like really?!?! We suck right now and yur still Hating? Tough.

i dont keep up with usc recruiting but i have heard they dropped the ball this year. Most notably some of tee's targets. So maybe him not taking the ut job was a hidden bonus. Could very well be he knew his recruiting skills needed improvement so he decided to hang around some guys who are well known in that aspect. When you arent ready you just arent ready. taking the job then and failing could have concerned him reguarding future chances.

Really don't understand the quote about Butch not wanting a living Vol legend on his staff. He didn't have a problem hiring Jay. :salute::salute:
