No. . . if thats the case then what you're referencing would suggest that our highest vote was for #4. However, you can clearly see that we received two 1st place votes.

Yep. Me too. As a matter of fact they do far more harm than good. But... they create conversation and controversy which convert to clicks which convert to $$$$. And this is precisely why the NCAA doesn't want a real national championship type of setup, i.e. winners of conference championships play for the NC. When you have humans choosing the teams, the bias shows thru. It's still the same farce it has always been and will remain so until it is conference champions only in the tournament.

Polls are great, but looking at the four BIG games we’ve played so far, we just keep getting better with each game. Pitt, good first test and we had some rust on us. Their D played a good game against us. FLA we were clicking much better on offense. LSU looked like we had fully matured into a deadly offense and it carried over into last night. We just did what we wanted to do and Bama didn’t make us really change what we were doing. Defense continues to do just enough, but also had a some key stops at the right time last night.
