Tennessee could play four ranked teams in a row : Indiana, Oklahoma,Notre Dame, and Ohio State

Indiana looks very beatable. Out rebounded by almost 25 by Stanford??? I think they really miss their guard from last year that went pro. Holmes is good but can’t carry the team. Of the 4, they may be the easiest win.
If Rickea is out or still hampered by that leg injury, we have no one else who can match up with Holmes.

Imagine us against Ohio State's press. Yikes.

And don't forget, we have MTSU on neutral court after these four gaunlet games.

Rickea will most likely play. This looks like a chronic issue rather than an acute one. But damn, an injury to her is total disaster for this team.

Yes, O. State and Indiana have good presses. They had 24 TO's against Memphis press. I don't even want to imagine how many TO's they can have against a team with really good athletes on a team that pressing on D is part of every game.

We had almost 30 turnovers against OSU last year. I fear a repeat of that coming.

The LV’s have a lot of work ahead of them and Jackson MUST be at her best. Holinshed has to become more aggressive because Key appears to be in recovery mode. Holinshed has to protect the paint. KJH has to keep Spears on the court as much as possible. We also need to work heavily on our defense both inside and out. Puckett is playing well on offense but we need more from Tess Darby.

We could easily go 4-0 if we score 75-80 points a game. However, we have to make adjustments on the defense end of the floor. I believe KJH WILL make those adjustments. I'm hoping this team goes on a winning streak similar to what we did during the 21-22 season. Minus the losses to big-name opponents.
Not a chance. The earth will enter and ice age before UT goes 4-0 with those teams

I think the Lady Vols can go 4-0, but their defense is going to have to step up. Giving up an average 76 points a game first 3 games is not going to aid their chances.
Her Hoops Stats predictions:

- Indiana 81, Tennessee 71 (I actually think this is a much better matchup for us. The teams are pretty much even so far this season in terms of good offense and bad defense, but Tennessee is much better at rebounding. And thus far, Indiana has not been particularly good in the areas where they could take advantage of Tennessee's weaknesses, like 3-point defense and TOs.)
- Tennessee 81, Oklahoma 80 (Looks like this should be a real barn-burner!)
- Notre Dame 81, Tennessee 73 (If Sonia Citron's injury is serious, this could be different, but Notre Dame is 5th in the country in steals right now. Hidalgo is really disruptive.)
- Tennessee 78, Ohio St. 78 (Dead even! Of course, another big test for our guards against Ohio State's press.)

Not a single game is a given, and it looks like every win would be helpful for tournament seeding.

well we wont go 0-4 but we need to play hard and compete.... not as much THAT we lost to Florida State and taken to OT by Memphis rather HOW we lost.... 42 turnovers in 2 games should not be happening especially in games with these opponents
They do not play defense. 0-4. FSU would beat those 4 either

4-0 - big step for the program
3-1 - best likely scenario to show promise
2-2- status quo
1-3 - expectations significantly drop and more see the leadership of no improvement
0-4 - unacceptable and brand falling further behind

Is this taking no Rickea into consideration?

2-2 without her would be a miracle. We can still hope.
