Tennessee could play four ranked teams in a row : Indiana, Oklahoma,Notre Dame, and Ohio State

No, this is taking play the hand you’re dealt and find a way to win. Schedule doesn’t care who plays, just the result.
Oh yeah I agree. Few will note and fewer will care (except us).
With RJ, 3-1
Without RJ 1-3
That sounds about right. And we're pretty definitely wo her since she didn't practice at all. They'll be having shoot around soon so we'll get confirmation.

This is the total nightmare scenario going into this stretch.

That's not necessarily totally true. The NCAA committee does look at things like players being out injured in games when determining tournament seeding, if that player is going to be available for the tournament.
Maybe, but as far as shaking off the consistently underwhelming reputation, I don't think RJ's injury will mean much. As the above post says, it will just be seen as part of the jinx

LSU isn’t any better than Tennessee. There’s no big two in the SEC.
South Carolina will lose games this season just as all other teams.

We won’t get a favorable slot come selection time, may get a doable round 1 but after that we’d face a challenging gauntlet to advance.

If we lose all 4 we are in real danger of not being a tournament team this year. The SEC outside of SC and LSU is not good. Won’t be many opportunities for resume wins in conference play if we can’t upset one of the Big 2.
I think there are some other pretty good SEC teams. Current NET rankings (per Warren Nolan):
1. South Carolina
3. LSU
15. Tennessee
25. Ole Miss
29. Alabama
33. Georgia
39. Mississippi State
48. Arkansas

Or ELO rankings:
1. South Carolina
8. Tennessee
18. LSU
19. Ole Miss
24. Alabama
27. Georgia
30. Arkansas
36. Florida
49. Vanderbilt

Or Massey:
1. South Carolina
18. LSU
21. Ole Miss
24. Tennessee
28. Alabama
30. Mississippi State
33. Georgia
42. Arkansas

Do not think Tennessee goes 0-4 next four ranked teams. But if they they have to show the people in charge of selection NCAA seeds improvemet by beating gamecocks or LSU with Jackson to get better seed.

It’s funny how major networks and sports affiliates can recognize talent up and down Tennessee roster but the teams supposedly own fans (really not fans) try to discredit every player but a 1 of 1 projected lottery pick. As much as I support this player, they aren’t carrying this team alone and it’s a joke to suggest they have to.

Funny how the negaVols want people to believe this team only has a chance based on one player. Even that is a disservice to that player putting that amount of pressure on them.

Have you seen Texas A&M and Mississippi State Rosters? Along with Ole Miss, it will be a fight for those top 5 spots. Obviously, South Carolina and LSU are the obvious favorites, but any of the next 3-4 teams could win on any given night. Mississippi State and A&M both got some really good transfers in. This early part of the season isn't going to mean that much. It helps, but it isn't and end-all if teams are losing in competitive early games.

Worse than a negavol is the sunshine pumper on ‘roids. And to make it worse, you want to be right all. The. Time. Stop chastising others for speaking of former lady vols and success or lack of when you mention other teams constantly (Ie, Belmont as an example). Reminds me of Dobbs4Heisman.

Indiana looks very beatable. Out rebounded by almost 25 by Stanford??? I think they really miss their guard from last year that went pro. Holmes is good but can’t carry the team. Of the 4, they may be the easiest win.
Reconsider?

I thought this was going to be a final four team? I thought that meant the NCAA championship? Or did that mean of all the teams ranked this team is in the final four?

I predicted 1-3 with the Oklahoma game the 1 Tennessee wins ....
So I'm rite on track ....Notre Dame and OSU are better teams than the Boomer Sooners.....
