That’s the biggest problem I see with the majority of protesters. They’ve been conned into promoting BLM without understanding they are actually wittingly/unwittingly supporting/promoting an organization that is just using them (money/power grab). That's the difficult part. Unfortunately some good people will be manipulated by the bad actors but that can be said for just about anything these days.
Short answer, I don't have an answer..
I dont think so.
I think some firmly believe what they express and are correct. I dont think that covers everyone tho. And thats not to say they don't believe it, it just may not be the case.
Racism still exists. And its not going anywhere because it comes from within an individual. You cant legislate it out of any person.
Our political system thrives on division. Its why Obama didn't magically bring the country together in harmony with 8 years and Trump hasnt either in 4.
I can't speak for anyone else other than myself. Only can give an opinion based on what I see but I have a hard time seeing this getting better. There is a level of hate right now that is scary.
No excuses, it is what it is. How I feel about the organization personally doesn't matter. Mainly because as long as the police departments are "militarized" every time there is an incident the focus will be on police action instead of in the issues within the AA community where the real issues are.Solidarity with a racist marxist group? Quit making excuses for adults.

Do I believe some changes in how police operate and it are trained needs to take place? Yes, because it isn't a black and white issue really.. Do I feel it will have the effect the AA believes it will? No? Because the real issues are within the culture adopted by the community.
BLM has been taught how to build a legitimate political party. Just like the Democrat and Republican party they need a blind base that will follow in lock step. That’s the biggest problem I see with the majority of protesters. Especially the younger people. Most of them don’t have the ability/experience to recognize the deception.
It sucks TBH.

That may be true for you and I but I think you underestimate the idiocy of American youth. They believe a statement on tic tok or Instagram qualifies as verifiable fact only because the statement exists.I am strictly discussing the idea that people can protest using BLM language and fraudulently hide behind the idea they didnt know what is stands for.
Utter BS
15 years ago nobody would of comprehended this foolishness at such unprecedented speed. Now what person is relevant to accelerating this over half this 15 year period and have the power to implement with increasingly powerful bureaucrats? This entire thing was led by a 4 star general today.
I have never heard my friend so down.
And I agree....we are f'd.
My man with an appearance!Affirmative action and similar treatment themselves foment resentment and hatred because affirmative action is simply another word for discrimination. We're either all in this together - equally or we are unequal by law.
You are exactly right you can't legislate an individual's preferences. The military has been removing photographs from selection packages to help remove bias, and there's even discussion of removing the name. I don't think any one of us can be completely devoid of bias - we may, for example, feel that a female has no business in a particular position from a feeling of protection and having nothing to do with a gender bias.

I think you overvalue the diploma for about 65% to 70% of college kids. You only really get out of education what you put into it. Most just go through the motions and pass. Then they end up competing for jobs against high school grads GED recipients.I get that for impoverished and uneducated youth. But not for youth on a college campus.

They don't want to know what BLM really is because it's so much easier to virtue signal with everyone else. Kids these days like anything easy, cannot deal with complications so they don't look beyond the surface. Life is easier and manageable for them that way.
Officers must be armed IMO. I think the attitude is more significant as it relates to the police being considered "militarized".I gave you a like because I liked most of your substance but I got to admit how many police officers do you think would go into a potentially hostile situation with only a billy club? The money wouldn't be worth because it already isn't and many do want to go home when the shift is over.
Agreed, and as you stated he isn't the average kid. I know he's very intelligent because we have a common friend. As I said earlier some don't want to know, some just don't care.Trey is intelligent. Had a mother pass way too early and then had to deal with blood clots. Unfortunately, I would think he is much more mature than he should have to be at his age, and he is all up in this garbage.
