We beat the team that has won several times more NCs in the last fifteen years than any other - which also happens to be a team we had not beaten in fifteen straight tries.

So yeah, the idea that this team has done nothing yet, is about as colossal of a fail as a human thought could ever possibly be.

I like what Fulmer said to the team in ‘98 after beating Florida. “Yes, this win feels great, but it’s what we take and do with it that matters. We have to focus on one game at a time to make this win count.” That is a great mindset to have as a coach and a player, but as a fan, I’m more than happy dwell on this excellent moment. Agreed on all counts. In addition we have also won exactly 6 games, ended 3 serious conference streaks that we couldn’t get past in many years and avenged the loss against Pitt. I know those things are sort of implied but since some people can’t seem to see any wins this season I wanna make sure they take note of the details.
