I don't think the loss to Auburn affected them I was much more affected :oops: so were hopefully in great shaped confidence wise. If they play just as well today as they did versus Arkansas we'll win this one. Arkansas played about as well as they can in that game and we still won.

I definitely think they’ll get up for this game. Who wouldn’t? I believe we can win, but I also believe if UConn plays their game they can definitely beat us.

Haha i get it and i was kidding... the PTSD of the past couple of years is real. The funny thing was i never felt like we were gonna lose the auburn game. Instead of being bummed about keyen i felt like they adapted and played for her. Key seemed less tentative and not as scared to foul

Yeah to me that game is a lot like MIZZOU/SC. Rankings go out the window for that one. How each team has played all season is right out the window too.

When two programs have that much history and animosity it’s a toss up every time they play.

The starting lineup I like the best is Key, Puckett, Horston, Burrell, and Walker. Coming off the bench Dye, Miles, Darby and that is about it. I wish Wynn was up to coming off the bench and playing some but guess that is only in mop up time mostly. I would also like to see a rotation where three starters were always in the game and Horston or Key were on of those starters.

I hope we come out well through this week. After this were four at home and two on the road one of which is Alabama which is usually like a home game almost for us. If we could win these two I can see number one seed very clearly.

I love Dye in the starting line up. When she shows up, we are unstoppable.

That is the problem she has been playing badly the last couple games. I can go either way with her and Puckett. I just like that Puckett can step out and make the three. I was concerned about her rebounding then she comes out and pulls 10 so that concern is no longer a problem.

I KNOW they will be up as will the Lady Vol's. I'll be real happy for a win. UConn can definitely win, but I have to analyze it without emotion. Can UConn bring guard pressure to cause 25 turnovers. Can ONO and Dorka combine to limit Key's effectiveness? Who on UConn can slow Horston? And lastly does an X-factor arise to change the complexion of the game. If UT limits turnovers, controls the boards, they win

The other thing (and this bothers Geno) is the back to back to back games means there is no practice. Geno has no chance to put something special in for the Lady Vols. They can get a walk through on game day but that's it. How to defend Key and Horston will be critical for UConn.

Do you still (somehow) believe Westbrook won't start Sunday? Funnier still!

I would think that the recent stretch of opponents (Butler at 1-17 or Providence at 9-11) gave UConn plenty of time to look ahead in their schedule and prepare if they felt it necessary.

I agree. I'm sure some of those two weeks they didn't play in December and January saw them keeping an eye on the Lady Vols, scouting, watching, all that jazz. He will never skip a chance to try to strangle Tennessee on the national stage.

Uconn is resting at home on Thursday. Is Butler even a game for UConn, more like they have a shoot around on Friday against them, then they rest up and prepare for Tennessee on Saturday, while Tennessee has to travel. The Tennessee team has to travel to Florida for an important game Thursday, then travel again to Connecticut, Friday or Saturday? How much time does Tennessee get to rest and prepare for Connecticut, not much, just lots of packing/unpacking, and sitting in a bus or plane. Then we play a well publicized game on another new court, in front of UConn fans. There is no asterisk.
