Women's Bracketology: Kentucky, Miami rise with conference tournament runs

Couldn't have a better position in the tourney with this bracket even if I picked it myself. Of course he has no credibility, but this would be fantastic for Lady Vols to get this draw.
Sending Missouri St to Tennessee for the first games is exactly the kind of thing the committee likes to do. Our team is always an enigima (mostly for reasons beyond their control) but this bracket does seem sweet, as in 16.

I was wondering whether we’d stay a 3 or fall to a 4. I think we are right on the line.

Our competitiveness though is going to prove well considering how strong our overall resume is.

I wouldn't trust him saying were a three although he is saying that and not likely to change now if true. No reason he would be that far off were definitely a four and that was in doubt until we beat Alabama.

True, I think a lot of it remains situational. For example, I believe we need to root for Iowa over Indiana today. Iowa has established themselves as a 3 seed. Indiana's resume trails a bit, but if they win the title, they could easily knock us out (if we are still in) and move us to a 4.

Hoping for great things for the Lady Vols in the NCAA Tournament this year, but no matter what happens, we have an exciting team lined up for next year.

We have 5 (including Tess) Freshmen that got invaluable experience this year, back as much improved Sophomores next year, and still have Tamari, Horston, Marta, and Walker on the roster, also Emily and Jessie, plus newcomers Powell (an experienced point guard), and a highly rated Freshman shooter in Pissott coming to play.

If our team does really well next year, it won’t surprise me a bit.

I have wondered about turnovers. It seems like there have been several games this year with markedly fewer turnovers than the normal LV games. It also seems like the LVs lost those games. I wonder if the ladies get too conservative trying to protect the ball, which then reduces the overall level of aggression. Could it be the aggressive, high TO LVs are better?

Texas, you are right on!, Apple turnovers are not enough. The LVs should go back to apple, peach, strawberry, cherry and raspberry turnovers. LOL! Seriously though, you have a valid point.

My best guess is that we will be the first or second four seed. Creme has us a three and that could be true but just looking at everything first or second four seed seems to be more fitting. Were playing at home certainly not anyway were not in the top 16. Forget the poll where were 19 they have several teams ranked above us with resumes far far worse.
